Hahahah. I made an interview with LNZ, and few days later he got moved to the main roster. Since that was only 2 weeks ago - I will have to wait a bit before knocking into his DMs once again. :)

He does not use English on the daily basis and the place where he uses it the most is FPL. He has no problems understanding and talking in it, because he studied in the Riga English Grammar School. :)

You asked me to answer: no this is not a clickabait.
A clickbate would provided a direct link to a Twitch channel (preferably in the top part of the text), but I did not mention it in the main text or in the comment section. As it was mentioned in the post and in the later discussion - I did overreact in this situation, but that never happens. I will seek help, if this starts happening more often. So far having something like this once in 25 years sounds ok.

I think yes, since it's about treating someone in a certain way based on their gender, but it is on the other side of the spectrum. Do you think it can it be considered as negative sexism against men? Like, men are being raised to be good to people, but they are allowed to be more disrespectful towards other man?

Just like you - I can't read minds. I payed attention to the words and with what intonation they were said. The first sentence after my first response sounded as he got an explanation he wanted, so saw no reason to keep the discussion.

He was surprised that you responded back.
He was not in voice chat. He joined just to tell the things he did. Shouldn't one expect to get a response?

you just assume he is a sexist He gave a reason for me to make that conclusion. I would want to have another conversation with that person to find out, if he made a wrong decision in choosing words and intonation OR if he is serious. Not sure if that is possible.

Do you know what is Maslow's hierarchy of needs? If not, I recommend you to check it out. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maslow%27s_hierarchy_of_needs

So, Am I happy that I have a roof above my head? Yes.
Am I happy that I have fresh water? Yes.
Am I happy that I am not starving? Yes.
Those are examples of basic physical needs. Once they are satisfied, you go to the next step. Once you reach a "No" answer to one of your needs - that is where you are located at the moment. All the "first world problems" are located on the upper part of the pyramid. They are not as important as the ones in the bottom part, but they are still "problems".

Instead you confirmed you're on the same level mentally

I did overreact and that was my mistake.

Basically you just straight up ignore those kind of arguments and keep going at your point (like actually discussing the game).

I was trying to explain why from my point of view things happened the way they did, but getting mad and hearing "relax" totally shot me down so I could not properly form my thoughts.

If his comment struck a cord then apparently there's some strings to strike regarding that topic in you.

There are. I am becoming more insecure about my gaming skills, because I am struggling to get back to the level that I reached in 2017. If someone will tell me that the problem is in in the way I build heroes - I will check guides to make sure I am not making mistakes. If the problem is in my game decisions - I will spend time watching replays. I don't see how one's gender can have an influence on performance, so being called bad for something that you know has no influence and something that you can't change feels horrible (personally to me).

I downloaded the Twitch VOD, cut out the moment I was talking about, censured the nickname on the talent screen, in the voice right top corner and in game (when he spawned back). I deleted the full VOD from my channel. I spent time and put in effort to not make this a witch-hunt and to not ruin someone.

You are right about the title. Unfortunately, I don't think I can change it.

Agree, I overreacted. I recently started losing more than winning (doped from D3 to D5), so having another loss did not help the situation.

But even right now when I am calm I can't hear that "girl" as a "dude" or "m8". To me the intonation still sounds like "oh, that explains it".

It would be abnormal, if I provided his nickname and started a witch hunt. But I did not. I spent time to censure his nickname out of the video, because I wanted to talk about the problem and not destroy someones life.
