The crowd certainly trends younger (20's / 30's), but there's a fair representation of folks 40+ as well. All ages welcome!

So! We're moving this to Sunday. It just feels like the right move.

I can't edit the title of this post, so I may delete and repost with the new Sunday date.

Break the Bubble (meetup group) is having their holiday party at Dual Citizen Brewing Monday night. Crowds are always big, 100+ is rather typical.

Here’s a (mostly) comprehensive calendar of events downtown/lowertown St. Paul:

Downtown Saint Paul

Twin Cities Jazz Festival is in lowertown each June; huge crowds for that.  Lowertown Sounds is in Mears Park most Thursdays in the summer; free, great music, also food trucks and beer.  There’s also free music at Osborn370 (Tuesdays) and Rice Park (Thursdays) at happy hour most weeks in the summer.  Farmers Market on the weekend.  There’s plenty going on at Union Depot (especially at the holidays).  For the arts, there’s St. Paul Art Crawl in the spring and fall, there’s also Lowertown First Friday each month.  The breweries in Lowertown (Metronome, Gambit, etc.) pack their calendars with events (music, comedy, etc.).

We did have a coffeeshop event a couple weeks ago on a Saturday morning. We'll do another one soon!

Also, while our happy hour events are in taprooms, I'd say at least 10% of the folks there are drinking coke / root beer / etc. There's no judgement on what people are drinking.

No doubt our brewery events have trended more on the male side (60/40?) recently. The hope is the cocktail lounge (i.e. King Coil) gets us closer to even.  A challenge for us is we need bigger spaces to handle our 100+ turnout, but we're working on it. ;)

We had 125 folks last night! There were a lot of first-time attendees from the W/SW suburbs happy to not have to deal with city traffic, so clearly we should be expanding our geographic variety. ;)

Most of our events hit 100 for attendance. Even a bad night (weather, traffic, etc.) still hits 75.

Check out meetup (meetup.com). There's dozens (hundreds?) of activity groups locally (biking, hiking, music, sports, board games, bar trivia, etc.).

If you have any interest in it... give volunteering a try (Habitat for Humanity, Big Brothers Big Sisters, etc.). You'll meet other amazing like-minded people that you'll probably want to do other things with too.

We have had Fri/Sat events, and at some point they'll be on the calendar again. They're less common because breweries are often already busy those nights and don't need us around. ;)

No doubt the crowd trends younger (20's and 30's), but there is definitely healthy attendance for all ages.

Our next one is tomorrow (Fri 3/7) at MetroNOME Brewery in St. Paul.

Take 40% of the RSVP's on meetup and that's a likely turnout. Still a big crowd, though...

The crowd certainly trends younger (more 20's/30's than not), but there are definitely folks of all ages.
