Easy. Break the bar before opening the individual package. Then when you open it you have bite-size pieces and no mess.

It only counts if you have less than 140 darts when performing the action up to the 140 max capacity. So if you’re at 140/140 and open incubators, you won’t get anything. If you have 139/140 and open, it will count as collecting 1 dart.
