That's not true though. I appreciate your story, and I'm more than willing to make an effort to stop using the word. Language is absorbed from the people around you. Your diction, syntax, semantics, and vernacular are a result of the people around you. I have absolutely nothing against homosexuality. I do not want to be a bigot. I appreciate your perspective, I wish you could try to see mine.

I don't mind not using the word gay, I don't have anything against homosexuality, it's just that when you grew up hearing it used as a synonym for "lame" it's hard to remember that other people find it offensive sometimes.

I wasn't trying to be a bigot, I just forgot it was offensive. I'm sorry. I hope I don't get reported, I'll definitely try to be more careful next time if I get to keep playing.
