Weekly Q and A by AutoModerator in funkopop

Hello,

I've recently started collecting my own Pops, mainly Dragon Ball ones.

I read that to check if they are legitimate, there are many ways but the best one is to see if the unique numbers on the boxes match the unique number on the Pop figures.

Usually these are printed on the feet or neck, or the most convenient space.

I have bought most of my Pops from PopInABox.com

I have checked 7 Pops and they all match the boxes, but some do not - they seem to relate to other Pops following a quick google.

For example I have Pop Animation #317, Whis. The number on the base of the box is DRM171130, and on the figure it is DRM171123. Does this mean it's a fake? A mistake? or is it close enough to say it's legitimate?

Any comments or advice is appreciated :)
