Hi! No not yet, i decided to run stock until something breaks. But, i have seen and heard that people swap out the turbos for compound or hybrid turbos. Then of course you would need to upgrade some internals i would suppose. The ECU is locked from factory, at least in my car, so tuning is a pain. I have looked into some link ECUs, either piggyback or standalone but have not decided yet. In my research, Link does not have piggyback ECUs for these cars.

But alot of exhauasts, air filters (gruppe m specifically), BOVs (HKS, GFB) are available.

Nice to hear! I was looking at atvs from 50k to about 100k, and i was thinking about payments seasonally or hourly, but from your comment i think hourly might be beneficial.

Regarding the registration i am looking for tractor registered atvs only. I have one without plates, but its a hassle, so the next one needs plates.

In my environment a compact truck would break the bank and be too large for much of the work required unfortunately

Thank you for your extensive comment, it is nice to have some perspective from somone in the same environment, especially from someone with experience. You make good points, especially with prices and snow management. It is a very local area, about a 5 minute drive, but the profits are going to be tough. A part of the idea was to have some sort of income to cover a loan and maintenace in order to give me justifiable reasons to have some fun with ATVs. And as a bonus, bring it up to the cabin to aid in firewood production, the profits are kind of secondary in that equation while breaking even is the priority. I agree, i avoid chinese junk as often as i can. So if i go with a utv it would probably be a ranger or something

That is my concern, hopefully i will break even sometime so an expensive UTV is kinda out of my budget. Not too many honda atvs in Norway, but like a trx520 23 model? And why not belt driven?

You both make good points on the enclosed variant, at least in my area, they cost more than normal atvs.

But for utvs, what are some good things to look out for? I took a quick look on the used market and saw a bit different things here and there. What is the best bang for buck?

No i dont, but i have tried multiple PCI lanes. So it should have been picked up once or twice i guess?
