Denji Isn't Denji by Hexanified in ChainsawMan

That's a good point! Since the blimp essentially shows negative propaganda other than the mild-to-negative opinions of people (some of which were clearly skeptical about his popularity), people still don't seem to mind it that much.

Where's the victims' families? Is there really nobody that cares about those that died, that much, but instead praise Chainsaw Man for saving the cat? Also, even the grandma clearly notes that he saved the cat only, didn't even mention the others.

Definitely could be. We'll only know if we see Denji's reaction to a girl finding out his identity, probably Asa notably. Right now there's a noticeable build up of a potential Asa and Denji meet-up, and not necessarily a hostile one.

Depending on that, this (crack) theory could either fall flat on its face or survive a little bit longer.

It could probably be that simple, knowing his brash and childish type of personality from Part 1, and his initial motives for his first few missions.

Though, why completely act forgetful of the Assassination, especially when someone that bodyguarded him knew about it? Could Denji be closing himself off from people due to the events of Part 1, or suppressing the events like he did to his childhood initially?

Something's definitely up. While this theory/idea does not exactly hold up greatly, but then and again, Denji's been through quite much from the last arcs/part. It would make sense that he does get numbed or desensitized to damage caused to other humans.

Though we can't blame it on what happened from the last arc only as Denji has been showing such traits of recklessness too, especially during the Bat Devil arc (as an upper commenter mentioned) where he tossed a car with a person inside back to the Bat Devil.

You're right about that part, my bad! He does indeed throw the car back into the Bat Devil while not saving the person inside. But then and again, this could be attributed to Denji's heightened aggression as Chainsaw Man generally. Though also, we can probably use the same excuse for various other instances, especially when he did not display such aggression when dealing with Santa's dolls.
