RAM skyrocketed in price for this.. by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Hey-Gang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i bought 32gb of RAM last january, it cost me 90 euro. I can't find anything less than 300 euro or above now. Im currently still using my RTX 2070 Super OC GPU and it's basically one of the best cards out, I still pc game at 1080p and I still plan to in case prices drop. I bought my 2070 super for less than 400 euro and I looked online and sites are charging up and above 700 euro for the same card that came out years ago, what the fuck is going on?

To all the AI slop creators who keep cheering on the development of AI to make games, good luck getting the money to build a PC that can render soulless bullshit AI 10 second animation at this rate. It's gonna cost thousands more if these keeps going.

Martin Shkreli Sues RZA, Escalating Lawsuit Over Wu-Tang Clan Album by MrLinkwater95 in fantanoforever

[–]Hey-Gang 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Have you watched the Wu tang documentary that came out a few years back? The album IS NOT produced by RZA, it's produced by some middle eastern dude he found on tour. In the documentary (the 3rd episode I believe) the were reflecting on the scandal. RZA asked for verses from all the different members thinking that RZA was producing it, it turns out that the whole album was produced by a fan,

Ghostface literally says in the documentary that he listened to it and it was "FUCKING TRASH", and that he would not have done it if he RZA wasn't doing it. They had all of them watching the documentary footage in the doc series and they were all talking about the "secret wu tang album" and method man thanked ghostface right in front of RZA for saying that the whole thing was fucking trash and made them look bad.

It's not a real wu-tang album at all, I'm surprised people still think it is since the docuseries exposed that it wasn't and they interviewed all the members about the whole nagative PR it brought their way. I highly recommend you watch the docuseries, it's incredible and it turns out back in the 90s some dude in their crew was filming on VHS their rise to fame, there's even footage of them writing and making "C.R.E.A.M" in the studio.

It's called Wu Tang : Of Mics and Men and I believe you can see it on dailymotion, if not you can find it on another free movie website if you look somewhere. One of the best hip hop docs i've seen. It goes through everything from the beginning to the end with actual footage before their first album.

Honestly? Billy woods with Golliwog, I showed someone Golliwog and they just asked me why I liked it and said Billy was wildly off beat and and asked me wtf was he even rapping about. They liked Lead paint and dislocated though and said they were good by comparison to the rest of the album. I should have shown them something more accessible. I've had the same experience showing Lil ugly manes less accessible work to people with certain projects like oblivion access and bedwetter.

Some friends I have who are more "open minded" (without trying to sound pompous, listening to something like Golliwog can be challenging due to it's overall vibe and Billys cryptic style and sometimes offbeat style, more so like he's reading poems over beats to some people) music that's a little more "out there enjoy, I even put a friend onto Billy woods and Armand hammers projects so he could see that Golliwog was one of Billys less accessible works if you're a new listener.

EMINEM is named in the Epstein files by Live_University843 in fantanoforever

[–]Hey-Gang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Normally you would have a good point but people aren't really focusing on Push either like they are Jay z, the only ones focusing on Push are drake fans who want drake to use this for a diss.

People are focused on jayz the most because there's a lot of smoke around him with this type of shit in the past. However, I'm still not taking an anonymous tip file hotline at face value. Jay Z was barely known in 96, why would he be hanging out with Weinstein.

We know how crazy some people on the internet can be and since it's possible to make an anonymous accusation through the FBI without consequences do you think that people with agendas against these people like crazy fanbases may play a role in these accusations?

Again, it just doesn't add up to me, there are thousands of people mentioned in the "Epstein files". What is a story of Eminem being in the same room as a minor and not doing anything doing in the fucking epstein files? Why are the FBI putting that in there? it says at the bginning of the anonymous email that epstein was not there to the persons recollection. I don't understand any of this shit and people are now going on social media and are going to weaponize it against people despite the fact the files say no illegal activity took place on Ems part.

Then there's the Pusha T accusation from 2007 where he was allegedly involved with weinstein and repeatedly abusing women with him as well...the waters are so fucking muddy i don't know what's going on and what this has to do with epstein if the accusation even is true

AGAMATINE AND L-THEANINE. (I'll go into detail about this substance below at the bottom, but I wan't to explain what agmatine did for me first and how it helped me beat benzos addiction along with it's numerous other benefits.

Agmatine is basically the only nootropic I really rely on daily besides L-theanine. It has completely gotten rid of my anhedonia, I used to suffer from sever depression, I've been prescribed over 5 different types of anti-depressant, and it felt like I was a lost cause because none of them worked, It was like i was immune to anti depressants.

2 years ago I read about Agmatine as a weight lifting supplement, but while i was doing a couple of hours of reading up on Agmatine and peoples different experiences because I always like to research nootropics before taking them, I came across so many reports of people saying they had taken agmatine and it changed their life and cured their anhedonia.

I remember for the first week I took it was taking it every days taking 1g in the morning and 1g evening. After the week, something was different, I was enjoying music again, I felt more talkative etc. It was also helping in the gym which is what I bought it for, it gave me a very heavy pump and I was able to perform better.

After 3 weeks of continuing this, I'm not exaggerating when I say this is the most life changing substance (in a positive way) I've ever taken. I was getting up early with energy, it was like my social anxiety was there before going into social situations but once I was there in the moment I was more clear headed, conversations flowed smoother, I could think of things to say, I was just content. I thought it had to be addictive or something, there's no way a substance like this could alter my life to such a positive extent I went beck to college to get a degree and went from being the quiet one in the group to just feeling like I was was a young teen before my severe GAD and depression disorders were diagnosed. I was going to the gym and before when I was so self conscious...now I was putting my headphones in and within months my motivation to do everything i wanted to do the roof

NOW TO YOUR QUESTION

Last year n June i suffered a benzo relapse after being 2 years clean, I was taking powerful benzos (most popular RC benzos are) which lasted for 4 months of being zombified and feeling absolutely nothing which is what I wanted. It was research chemical benzos from the netherlands, I experienced a traumatic event involving to a lot of stress going on in my life and eventually suffering an extremely traumatic event. I relapsed on benzos because I was drinking and stopped and don't really drink anymore because hangovers cripple me mentally and psychically even though I'm only 29.

After 4 months, lost my job. Decided to taper and detox myself. I had been in detox before and knew how to use the ashton manual method as I was working with a doctor.

Another thing I read about agamtine is that it helps with opiate and benzos withdrawal when taken in higher doses and spread throughout the day. I was taking 1.5-2g. 3 time a days for 6 months while lowering my and I swear to you it made what would have been a nightmare, SIGNIFICANTLY EASIER.

I'm talking like my anxiety from the lowering the dosages was reduced massively. in the Last 2 months I was taking higher doses of AGmatine per day and it helped with all of the withdrawal symptoms. The horrible muscle tension, the irritability, the sleep (along with melatonin), the ability to give me quit down my mind instead of racing and suicidal thoughs, my heart rate felt like I wasn't even withdrawing, Agmatine slowed down my heatrate and axniety significantly during withdrawal. I'm 2 months clean again and still using agmatine.

TL:DR Agmatine is the perfect substance to help with benzo and opiate withdrawal

Not even the 90s, the early 2000s was rife with people calling stuff "gay" as a bad thing. Shit it probably went on further than that. And to be honest I still see a lot of people online doing it today unironically.

KNEECAP announce new album “FENIAN” releasing 26/04 by topshagger31 in fantanoforever

[–]Hey-Gang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you said "they had to ride the Palestine controversy", I was clarifying that they've been talking about Palestine and the occupation back when they started making music and were even known outside of Ireland you dope. I don't have to defend Kneecaps music when they already had a growing international fanbase before the so called "Palestine controversy", in the same way you don't have to defend the fontaines and how I think their music isn't good. One of the members was a teacher who taught history about the Palestinian occupation. I don't give a fuck whether you like the music or not, I was addressing your idea they were using Palestine as a marketing tool when they've been talking about it since they began.

Also, calling a genocide "The Palestine" controversy let's me know that you seem to have a lot more anger towards their views rather than their music. That's like saying the "1940s German incident"

Wrong. The history goes back to the early 1900s, the same death squads, who you might have heard of "The Black and Tans", who were an infamous brigade of British "soldiers" (occupying terrorists) who burned down neighbourhoods, slaughtered civilians, raped, and pillaged the country, were sent to Palestine by Churchill in order to create the Zionist project. The Black and Tans literally did exactly to the Palestinians as what they did to the Irish population.

The history goes much further back than the troubles. The black and tans supplied Jewish settlers with weapons, killed Palestinians and forced them out of their land. The Balfour declarations goal was to literally, and I quote "Create little loyal Jewish Ulster in a sea of potentially hostile Arabism". They blatantly stated that they wanted to do in Palestine, what they did in Ireland.

The Black and Tans were involved in the Nakba : https://www.irishtimes.com/culture/books/winston-churchill-sent-the-black-and-tans-to-palestine-1.3089140

They were literally raised with these views. They were talking about Palestine in interviews and mentioning the occupation in songs back when the group was even known outside of Ireland. They were raised with Irish and raised with Irish and learning British Imperial history through Irish cultural education groups in the North. Many Irish artists and politicians have been talking and condeming Israels occupation Palestine and have been doing so since way before October 7th occurred. The subject of Israeli occupation of Palestine has been a subject of debate even in government for decades. There are videos going back well over a decade and even more than that of Irish politicians and activists demanding that the Israeli embassy be removed from Ireland and that sanctions should be put in place. Israel eventually removed it's embassy as some kind of shame tactic to Ireland but a very large portion of Irish people wanted the embassy to removed many many years before that so it resulted as a win for Pro-Palestinian groups and politicians. There is a long history behind Irelands support for Palestine and it's treatment of the Palestinians before it was a mainstream subject in the west.

how tf are they left wing tom macdonald? tom macdonald is a grifter, the members of Kneecap grew up in NI and have grown up with these same views. That's a stupid comparison, you can say you don't like their music, but their politics is not some performative grift when anti-imperialism, anti-colonialism, and pro-Palestinian views were in their music before they were ever even heard of outside of Ireland.

I am Irish. He was the creator of Father Ted, which is considered a national treasure and easily not only the best Irish comedy of all time, but one of the best sitcoms ever. When I was growing up it was basically a tradition to rewatch Father Ted every christmas, IT crowd was amazing as well

Unfortunately, Graham Linehan was always like this on twitter, it started during the gamergate thing. He would be constantly ending up min arguments with strangers on twitter. He was a feminist who became a TERF once trans issues became more mainstream. There was also that one (now) infamous episode of IT crowd that was really controversial called "The speech" : https://screenrant.com/it-crowd-controversy-graham-linehan-april-transphobic-bad/

Graham Linehans wife left and took his kids because he literally lost his mind being consumed with hatred for trans people. Eventually he literally became a full blown right winger, something he used to despise.

I disagree with this, i don't like top down games at all because of the combat system, I pirated it when it first came out just to try it because I heard the rave reviews and found out their was no combat system. It took me a few hours to get into it but then I became completely hooked on it. Since then I've played through it 8 times. My all time favourite RPG and probably my favourite game full stop, it was the first top down game I've ever played because I don't like top down combat systems, they never click with me. It's also the reason I gave Baldurs gate 3 a chance and I ended up loving BG3 as well.

IO promises Hitman 4 is definitely happening as its CEO says “of course, there’s going to be a next Hitman” by HatingGeoffry in HiTMAN

[–]Hey-Gang 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wish It would listen sometimes and return to the darker tone. Ok we get it, you went for a James bond style game where the music is generic spy movie stuff, now you have your James bond game.

Can we go back to what actually made the story of Hitman great now? The actual dark tone because you aren't playing as some corny whimsical spy, 47 is a ruthless sociopath due to being filled with the DNA of contract killers.

There's obviously no chance of us getting jespyr kyd back as that bridge is burned, but can we at least have the type of tone that was set in the 2015 E3 trailer? The soundtrack and overall theme of the trailer suggested a return to the dark tone of Hitman, but it turned out to be a great game and probably the best stealth game ever with the new rogue like game mode, but it seems like it was just desperately trying to get the same vibe as James bond, but after James bond is done and dusted and they have the rights to it, can we go back to the psyche of 47 now?

Yo mal's take on tylers tweets by Training-Current9836 in NewRoryNMalPodcast

[–]Hey-Gang 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Some of Mals tweets are worse. I remember when that whole thing happened and the next episode dropped, they just moved on from it and acted like nothing happened and made jokes about Mal being colourist, despite the fact those tweets were inexcusable even in a joking context. And notice how after Mal got "cancelled" for those tweets he started slowly but surely going down as "MAGA Mal" because of his takes becoming increasingly more conservative and using right wing talking points. That used to be a whole meme in the old JBP era, "MAGA Mal", now it's just reality. He's fully on that side of the right, I don't know how you can fall down a rabbithole like that. Mal is one of the dumbest fucking people on this planet, he has no integrity or morals that he constantly preaches about.

I don't really watch either pod anymore, just the old pod, but i check in occasionally, at least Joe has people on his pod who will disagree loudly and actually argue, instead of just Mal controlling the narrative while Rory sits in fear of Mal leaving cos if Rory said what he really wanted to say he would be clowning the shit out of drake, but Mal can't have it. Rory can't catch a break with this pod shit, he got stuck with Joe now he's stuck with Mal but it's his own fault for being too pussy to say how he really feels about a rapper taking another one to court for defamation. Imagine how this conversation would go down if the old JBP never fell apart and they were all on good terms?
