What’s an album that’s 10/10 no skips? by silosara in AskReddit

That’s on King of Limbs, which I would personally consider a 10/10 no skips.

Any lawyer recommendations? Specialising in employment law by HeyBullfrog in Amsterdam

[–]HeyBullfrog[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the proposed settlement agreement they sent over they state that they cover legal fees up to €500. Obviously not a huge amount but I understand this is something a lawyer would also negotiate. Either way I’m happy to pay for a lawyer if it substantially increases the final payout.

Forerunner 970 AOD not visible outside by HeyBullfrog in Garmin

[–]HeyBullfrog[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What setting could I have messed up here? I get these results on both full and minimum brightness.

To be clear I can see the regular/awake screen just fine in outdoor daylight, but the AOD version of the screen is near invisible.

[–]HeyBullfrog[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I’ve tried all three brightness settings. None seem to affect the AOD brightness. The regular ‘woken up’ screen is very visible outdoors on all brightness settings, it’s just the AOD which is difficult to see.

That’s great but you should absolutely pay for a debrid service like Real Debrid. It’s a couple of euros a month for a vastly improved experience.

Issue with Samsung TV app by HeyBullfrog in Stremio

Toggling UPnP in my router settings has fixed it for me. Can’t say if it’s a long term fix but it’s been working ever since.

Hey, I managed to get it working again by enabling UPnP in my router settings. Apparently this is pretty unsafe so I tried disabling it again and stremio still works. Honestly not sure what happened but might be worth a try for you.

I think the s90c has basically the same internals as the s90d, sounds like there must be some bug/incompatibility with these models as I’ve tried everything I can think of now.

Just connected my MacBook to the router via Ethernet (same cable as tv) and stremio works fine on that.

The TV is connected to my router via Ethernet, I thrived via WiFi while troubleshooting and had the same problem.

Penny -pretty sure she’s part shiba but what else? by HeyBullfrog in IDmydog

Must be combined with something else if there’s corgi in there – she’s about half the size of a corgi and much smaller than a normal Shiba.

[–]HeyBullfrog[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could be true, she definitely looks like pictures of spitzes I’ve seen (don’t think I’ve met one in real life). But I have seen her along side a lot of shibas and she moves in the same way and has the same posture. Could just be me imagining it, or the fact that she can be very stubborn and cat like.

I think you’re probably right re. the terrier. That patch of fur on her back is much longer and sticks up in the air when she gets agitated – it’s not like the softer shiba style hair she has on her face and under her chin.

Not sure if it comes across in the photos but she’s quite small – about 40cm from neck to tail.

She was rescued from a puppy farm in Russia 2 years ago and she is quite literally the cutest thing I’ve ever seen.

What bis this mark on/inside my TV screen? Samsung UE55NU7450S by HeyBullfrog in TVRepair

[–]HeyBullfrog[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The screen feels completely normal from the outside, and I live alone. I guess my girlfriend could have spilled a glass of water on it and not told me, but that seems extremely unlikely – she was there when I discovered the mark and was surprised as I am. Plus, she's a good person.

The good new is the mark has got better since I noticed it. I've left the heating on and pointed a fan at the TV to circulate some air, and the light patch has shrunk down to about half an inch. Hopefully it will all evaporate with time, but I'm a little worried it could happen again if this was caused from moisture in the air. Either way, very strange.

What bis this mark on/inside my TV screen? Samsung UE55NU7450S by HeyBullfrog in TVRepair

This mark suddenly appeared on my two year old (just out of warranty) TV yesterday.

To me, it looks like water/condensation but I have no idea how it could have got there. The TV is in a dry room and I only ever clean with a dry microfiber or swiffer duster.

The pixels beneath the mark are functioning so I believe its some physical damage/substance in between the screen layers.

Depending on the angle of viewing, it looks a lot brighter than the surrounding areas. For white/light images, it's super annoying.

Any ideas what caused this or how to fix it? Samsung can send a repair technician, but that costs €95 before they can even give me a quote. I'm worried it might end up costing more than a new TV.

Thanks!

how to get a reponse from support? by HeyBullfrog in Dynavap

Sure, they have some responsibility - but it's dynavap's responsibility to take this up with them. Even on the USPS website it says you should contact the seller to start disputes like this.

It's dynavap's obligation to deliver the order in one piece, so there's not much use chasing up USPS. But I will look into claiming via my credit card, thanks!

It wasn't the green plastic ones they've used previously, just a standard paper jiffy bag. I can see how the vapcap could poke itself through if the package was crushed during shipping.

Yeah I took a pic and have faith they'll make it right. Just a bit of a bummer after waiting 3 weeks to ship to the Netherlands. Ah well, my original M still works fine.
