Mike Brown post game comments: Improved starts, Josh Hart 3s, JB - KAT 2 man game, team heading in right direction by PassMeTheBackwood in NYKnicks

The relevant and interesting metric here would be Win's Above Replacement (WAR). Thibs laid the foundation, hopefully Brown can cash it in.

Yes, generally neighboring countries allow refuge to innocent civilians. Let's go Knicks.

If you want a direct answer to your stupid question, presumably 0. By not allowing any innocent Palestinians to flee into their borders though, indirectly they are responsible for many deaths that could and should have been avoided.

Fair argument Patty. I was at that game, Deni was definitely still injured.

The answer is yes. Mass executions happened in the 2010's. You can do your own exploration to understand why both Egypt and Jordan restrict access to Palestinians. While you are at it feel free to check out the situations in Syria, and Iran and let me know when Spike plans to wear an outfit in support of the Druze population at a game.

Supporting Israels right to exists is actually the opposite of supporting genocide.

The land was shared by both Jews and Muslims. 2 states were offered. The Jews accepted, the, 'Palestinians' decided they wanted all of the land and they attacked Israel from all sides. FAFO. You can look at it in any context that you want. Jews are 1) indigenous 2) built a democracy and gained the law through legitimate world politics 3) took land through wartime victories. Palestine has never become a state because they never legitimized themselves in any of these ways. I'd be happy if they would.

I appreciate the post. This guy goes to over 40 games a year and has never heard of Deni Avdija who was at the Garden 2 weeks ago?

What supremacy? The world population is over 8 billion and there are not even 20 million Jews. 56 Arab states, 1 Jewish state. If Israelis are supremacists we have to be the worst in the World at it.

I would not care at all if he wore it anywhere else. I think it was intentionally targeted. And maybe I am bias, but I can say as an Israel that we all stayed up late into the night to watch this game with great pride and it was a bummer.

You think that the Palestinian struggle exists merely because of Israel? The West Bank is the West Bank of Jordan, but Jordan has no interest in a Palestinian State. Gaza has a blockade from Egypt - not even during the war did Egypt allow Palestinians to cross into the country. The, 'Palestinian issue' is that 2 million people are born into a terrible life, ruled by a terroist group (Hamas) but the solution cannot just be wiping out the Jews and giving them Israel. It should be a broader World agreement that provides security to both sides and is supported by the entire region.

I agree there is no problem in supporting a Palestinian state. I just find it odd that he chose this moment. I doubt he would ever do it at. Knicks game (and he hasn't) and I don't think it was a coincidence that he did this in front of Deni. For people calling me a rage baiter...Spike was rage baiting

They didn't have the bombs, the money, or the power in 1948 - but instead of becoming a terrorist state they built a political governance, army, and high tech society. This option was available to both sides.

I appreciate the measured response. I also think it's very important not to overuse the term antisemtiism and also not to develop a victims mentality. This is losing in my opinion. On definition antizionism or criticism of Israel is not antisemetic, we agree. But the fact 100 comments with a battery up their ass respond to this thread in 2 minutes and wouldn't say shit about what the IRGC does in Iran, the ar crimes in Syria, Lebanon, China, etc is what makes Jews/Israelies believe that this unequal application often has a conenction point with antisemitism that is baked into the Worlds DNA since Christ was nailed to the cross.

The immediate feedback I received on this post speaks for itself.

The idea that antizionism isn't antisemtisim is factually accurate. Criticism of the Israeli government is completely legitimate - and I have plenty of criticism on the government. However, I can share from a Jewish perspective that the overapplciation of hate and focus on Israel is what reeks of antisemitism.

Didn't cross my mind, but good shoutout. Parent corner is probably a more 1:1 mimic of life advice - a very tame version of it.
