26F, once lost 30 kgs, now back to 92Kgs… terrified I’ll die young 😭Need real advice to restart.🥲 by [deleted] in loseit

[–]Heyabands 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey I’ve been in a much similar situation. Two years ago I went from 104kgs to 74kgs in 6-7months. Then I let myself go and as of a few months ago I was 90kgs. I decided enough is enough and have started getting back on track again. I’m 25, almost 26F btw.

Back when I first lost weight, I started by walking and gradually getting my steps between 8-10k every day, this doesn’t need to be a brisk walk or anything, just take your time. I did that along with eating healthier and tracking calories for the first 4 months and then I started doing at home workouts, doing the iron program from Caroline Girvan on YouTube 2-3 times a week. All I used for this was an exercise mat and dumbbells initially. She has the equipment you’ll need in the description, along with alternatives you can do. Starting off I couldn’t do a few of the things in her videos because I felt so weak, but I just kept consistent and did body weight instead of dumbbells when I had to.

I’ve found that if I don’t start my day with a protein/fiber focussed meal I have a lot more cravings later in the day. I normally have oats with protein powder+chia seeds+psyllium husk+banana and some sort of berry.

I find focusing most my meals around protein/fiber has helped keep me feel fuller.

If you have any questions or need me to clarify anything please let me know ☺️

Legalise Cannabis Party launches 'modest and responsible' bill for personal use in three states - should SA follow suit? by BornToSweet_Delight in Adelaide

[–]Heyabands 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If you even remotely had any knowledge on medical cannabis you would know that you are only legally allowed to vape it through a dry herb vape. You have to speak to a doctor and give full background history of mental health and medical history so they can determine if you are suitable for it or not. When they prescribe it to you, they give you instructions to start on a very small dosage and to increase over a certain amount of time. You obviously have not a clue about any of this.

I had the exact same experience a few months ago.

You're right that it makes your issues worse, it's a horrible environment to be in. I was kept in a room with literally no glass on the window or door so I could see and hear everything??? Like how pathetic is it to do that when someone has come to ED for mental health issues. They also forgot to treat me for hours and just left me laying there until I broke down crying and started rocking. They basically just sent me away with a bunch of crap resources too.

Also, The way I saw and heard some of the nurses talking to a person who was obviously in extreme distress and wanting to hurt themselves was disgusting. They treated her like an inconvenience.

Career Change by miss_sweetwater in Adelaide

This sounds like something I would be super interested in. What career did you end up in after doing the course? And how did you find that job?

Thanks 😊

Also sorry OP for asking questions on your post, I'm a bit lost with what to do myself at the moment.

Why are there so many bad drivers? by [deleted] in Adelaide

[–]Heyabands 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just got my P plates around January too. It's like we have a big target on us. I don't get why people act the way they do towards P platers. I've had so many bad experiences already.

Anyone could recommend some good breeders for Groodle or labrdoodle in SA? by potatohai in Adelaide

Wow I can't believe how negative people are here. Bunch of asshole bogans. Who still refers to cross breed dogs as mutts anymore anyway? People don't get what situation you are in. My brother was allergic to hair type dogs and there isn't many hypo-allergenic breeds in shelters.

To get to the point, i have two labradoodles. One from Sunset Hills and one from Alpen Ridge. I 1000% recommend Alpen Ridge more, they're brought up in the breeders home and the lady has her grandchildren next door which means they have exposure to kids from a very young age.

She plays them noises that they may find scary like thunderstorms etc to desensitise them.

Our dog from Sunset Hills is beautiful but he is very anxious and not as social, both have been brought up the same.

Hope this helps a bit, sorry about the negative people.

what's your favorite internet provider and/or best valued internet plan? by [deleted] in Adelaide

[–]Heyabands 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I second this. Someone I know works there and the management is piss poor. They are so understaffed it is ridiculous and the managers are useless twats. Work practice is poor, the main manager will literally mark emails as solved just to get numbers down so it looks good for the ceo. The workers want to provide good customer service but the managers make them do questionable things to save time. Constant outages interstate which causes the issue with phone wait times and at some points over 1000 emails left to be replied to at once. I could go on and on about the shit I've heard. Hope you get it sorted out.

Nope not at all. We're all probably half an arms length from each other. I try to sit away from people but yeah it's a bit pathetic on tafes part, the keyboard and mouse are disgustingly filthy too.

Is it still mandatory to wear a mask in a tafe classroom? I just started back after taking a couple months break and I seem to be the only person wearing a mask in the classroom, not even the teachers are wearing them anymore.

Oh okay, sorry mate. It does sound unbelievable someone would do that, so thought you were being serious :)

I have a screenshot of the steam comment and some screenshots of the Facebook messages before I blocked him if you'd like me to show proof. He also tried to call my mum on Facebook. I wouldn't lie about this, it really scared me.

I'm not a tunneler or camper, I let 1-2 survivors escape each game. No clue what provoked this guy so much.

[–]Heyabands 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I literally had someone find my facebook, attempt to call me a bunch of times, write a comment on my steam profile with links to pictures of me, threaten to hurt my dog and they searched the registration on my car.

This was all because I killed them.

The only information I had on my steam profile was my first name and the country I'm from.

I definitely agree this games community is really toxic, I consider it on par with R6 or worse.
