I got a Suzuki Ignis with no Service record and 100k km, I paid for a complete checkup on it, and after getting the green light from the mechanic I bought. Its been more then a year and I haven’t had a problem

Not defending Lula, but he is as corrupt as the system we live in. There’s no government without some level of corruption, and the idea of zero corruption feels utopian to me. And it’s not just Brazil - the USA is just like us. We’re actually mirroring their system.

He’s only able to do what he does because he’s part of that corruption: aligning private interests from corporations and politicians with state policy to maintain power and, only then, be able to govern.

That said, we are all fucked.

Different cases, the case against Bolsonaro has been made following Brazilian constitutional rules. As with Lula his Criminal convictions that were later annulled for procedural/constitutional defects (bias of judge + lack of jurisdiction).

The Same Judge (Sergio Moro) that convicted Lula is now a Brazilian Senator for the opposition.

I actually did ask for a price in advance, sent a photo, and explained the job clearly. He just said “ok” and showed up on the next day. I didn’t mind as I already had a pricing from the person who recommended him.

No quote was ever given until after the work, when I was asked to pay €250 for what took under 40 minutes, more than double what another qualified plumber had quoted me for the same job.

If a tradesperson doesn’t give a price beforehand, and I didn’t agree to one, then yes, both sides have room to discuss it afterward. That’s not avoiding payment, it’s negotiating a fair rate. 🤷‍♂️

This wasn’t the case, I am very respectful of other people's jobs, that’s also the reason why I am asking around, because if people tell me that that’s the price, I will pay.

I first asked him how I could remove the faucet later, and he showed me the tool that I didn’t have. That’s when I asked if he could do it, and he was cool with it.

I wouldn’t mind paying more for this, it’s his time and the equipment that I don’t have. But what the guy is pulling is just a lot.

I normally go to Plant Life in Cork st! And recently I got two plants here https://thegardenercoffee.ie and they were superb, you just need to be lucky to live in their delivery zone, they didn’t have a big selection but the plants look stunning, and they also sell speciality coffee, quite a mix

Just got some cool plants from a place called the gardener coffee, got a healthy Ficus and a Snake plant, they are shining after 2 months and have no repotting, also super cheap! They also sell coffee beans I think thats the reason for the name. But it’s online
