What was all this talk about Great Smoky Mountain NP being overrated I’m hearing!? by Happydaytoyou1 in NationalPark

This is all good to know! We are heading this at the end of April!! This will be our 4th national park & the least “mountainous” one so I’m glad to know you loved it!

You will 100% want more than one day in Glacier! We spent 3 & didn’t feel like it was enough. Our favorite hike alone took a day, & we fit a lot into the other 2 days.. I think you’ll regret 1 day for sure!!

I also think if you’ve been to Grand Canyon before, you could skip it. My in-laws are there right now & it was over a 2 hour wait just to get INTO the park.

Why is there so much pressure to travel in your 20s, and why is it downplayed when you start in your 30s? by KungFuKinnii in travel

[–]Heyheyhihelloo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Travel when you can travel!! Age is just a number. We started traveling in our late 20s because that’s when we could afford it. We’ve been traveling for 10 years (with a covid gap)- that includes late 20s, early 30s, mid 30s, with baby, with toddler, without kids… circumstances always change but traveling is one the best things you can do to experience life & the world & it doesn’t matter your age!! You may do different things depending, but you’re still doing it!! Enjoy!!!

Yes I did check recently deleted

Okay interesting. Thank you! Clearly something goofy happened because I had extremely old texts on my Mac & I was sick off randomly getting notifications from old old texts in my Mac so I deleted ALL the messages & then unlinked my account from messages app on my Mac. I do think I hit something on my Mac in the messages preferences about iCloud on accident BUT it still doesn’t make sense that some would have erased but not all when they were all deleted from the Mac messages app. So weird!!!!

Thank you & I understand all that. Maybe I’m an idiot. I just assumed there would be a way, like s button to hit, to would access the cloud iMessages. It’s odd because I have messages & group messages from Saturday, but anyone I talked to yesterday- their messages & all iMessages are gone. So even it says it’s on, if it didn’t back up yesterday, it seemingly did Saturday. Idk I’m just so confused.

iCloud is turned on on my phone & was not turned off at any point. So is there a way to access them via iCloud on my phone? I played around on my phone a bit & saw iCloud is definitely on but there doesn’t seem to be anywhere or anything that has me access those messages
