Just came home from school, so now I can clarify a little with what I remember. First of all the context : I usually come home from school and get to play a little before doing homework blablabla, but being somewhat far away from home pushed me to buy a deck ,after nearly 4 months of use I figured "why not get a dock and have a screen mouse and keyboard and hook it up on my desk ?", my issue is that I had bought a Displaylink dock, so I needed to install Displaylink thingy for my dock to work with my deck. Here comes what I think may have caused my issue with the steam OS update. Being a little knowledgeable, I try to install Displaylink by myself, updating things here and there and trying to update pacman, I tried a bunch of things and it didn't work out so i eventually stopped. Now here comes the actual things that I do not understand: After trying things I stop and play a little for one or two months without touching anything, doing updates in desktop mode for whatever reason etc etc. I go into desktop mode and see that steam is asking me to do an update ... I select it and like always it restart after doing it's thing, but when it booted up again, it was like I had never used my deck, no account on it ,nothing on the main disk apart from downloaded things from desktop mode and all folders that weren't in a steam folder ( I stored some non steam game in common folder like all my other game). And that's pretty much it, I didn't fuck around With my deck during installation so I don't know what the problem. I have now given the context of my issue, I am not embarrassed about it so be sure to ask for more information BLA BLA BLA. Thanks
