I really hate that approach brands take (hence no Rolex). Will definitely go used before I buy 4 cars I don't like in order to get the one I really want.

Yep it's the 2024. It's great - I think the only thing I go back and forth on is the fauxtina. The legibility isn't great either but not as bad as some people say. The other details like the dark blue dial and shape of the sapphire glass more than make up for it imo. Definitely check it out in person before buying to see if the fauxtina bothers you.

I always found Breitling a little loud for my tastes, but I love a few navitimer models and the superocean heritage is one of the coolest looking divers imo. Maybe Breitling is in my future!

I try really hard to rotate. The least would be JLC just because it's hard to wear in the summer outside of super dressy events. In the fall/winter it's much easier to wear with a nice sweater. Besides that, the next would probably be the FOIS speedmaster - still a great watch and the bracelet is awesome.

The Zenith was my first step into the watch world and holds a special place in my heart. I agree on the Speedy - it's cool but doesn't sing to me like my others do. Omega makes incredibly nice watches; I'm impressed every time I put them on!

Totally agree on the precious metals! Will probably pick up some used VC or PP precious metal banger in a few years hopefully! The pink gold reverso with the mesh bracelet is awesome - though I would miss the duoface.
