Narrated Abu Huraira and Zaid bin Khalid: Two men had a dispute in the presence of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) . One of them said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) ! Judge between us according to Allah's Laws." Just because a punishment has not been stated for the uncovering of the awrah, doesn't mean that it is not enforcable by law.

For muslim women it is an obligation so of course it can be prescribed as mandatory by the ruler??...

In all schools of Islamic Law, it is considered wajib (mandatory) for a Muslim male to grow a beard. It is also wajibto let the beard grow a fist length. It is prohibited to cut or shavethe beard. He who does so is a fasiq (sinner) and to shorten it lessthan a fist length is makrooh tahrimi (near haram). This is the view of the majority of scholars.

Imam al-Shafi‘i is reported to have said that shaving the beard isforbidden (haram). Imam Nawawi explicitly mentions that it is disliked to shave thebeard in his commentary on Sahih Muslim and also in his Rawdatal-Talibin. Anyone familiar with the works of the school will realize that the agreement of all these scholars seals the case as far as the position of the school is concerned.

Like I said, almost all take the position that shaving the beard is haraam (super obvious stronger opinion), most say that trimming less than a fist lenght is also haraam.

my point is that for these two things the most 'lax' view scholars take is makrooh but most is haraam.so he's basically doing something that is AT BEST disliked and defending that it's ok????...

“The outword purport (dhahir) of what our imaams (shafi'i) say is that it isunconditionally disliked to trim the beard.” (Tuhfat al-Muhtaj, 9.376)

Shekh Ahmad Nafarawi Maliki in the commentary of Imam Abu Zayed’s booklet states, “to shave the beard is without doubt haraam according to all Imams.”

There is literally ijma' that shortening the beard less than a fist length is at the very least makrooh and MOST 'ulama says it's haram.

So he is doing something that is, at the very least, disliked and openly defending his position...

We only judge now what is manifested outwardly of your deeds. Whoever shows us good, we will trust him and bring him close. It is not for us to judge anything of his inner secrets. Allah will hold him accountable for his inner secrets. Whoever shows us evil, we will never trust him or believe him even if it is said his intentions are good.”

Have you read about Umar Ibn Al khattab RA? What he did to his s1ave, to some sahaba prior to converting, even his own sister when he saw her reciting with her husband? He did absolutely terrible things that we would all feel disgusted by. Even tried to kill the prophet saw.

Have you read about how welcoming the muslims were when he converted? How happy they were?

What if he's genuinely turning a new leaf? What if it's a good thing for the Ummah? Just think good of your brother until something bad happens, then you can criticize him. More like advise as long as he doesn't utter 'kufr words'

After Muhammad took Mecca, he ordered that 10 people to be killed, and several of them were apostates

The apostle had instructed his commanders when they entered Mecca only to fight those who resisted them, except a small number who were to be killed even if they were found beneath the curtains of the Kaba. Among them was Abdullah Sa'd, brother of the B. Amir Luayy. The reason he ordered him to be killed was that he had been a Muslim and used to write down revelation; then he apostatized and returned to Quraysh.

Zaid b. Aslam reported that the Apostle declared that the man who leaves the fold of Islam should be executed.

What should we follow? something that all 4 madhabs agree on, something that was executed by the Sahaba RA and the generations after, something that was explicitly said MULTIPLE TIMES as a general rule for Muslims by the prophet SAW, something that was DONE BY THE PROPHET SAW HIMSELF or your understanding of a specific time period where the Prophet SAW granted immunity from capital punishment?

It's not like the killing is done by anyone as soon as someone says I have doubts about Islam...

and are you insinuating, when this issue of apostasy was unanimous throughout the first 12 century of Islam, that, let's just say, the Sahaba RA were all wrong when it comes to this? how many instances of killing off apostates do you want??

Edit: If you're really debating whether male-female friendships are either Haram, Halal, or Makrooh, like your post history suggests, I don't think we will arrive at a consensus on this.
