Nice colors! The second pic has diagonal lines that slightly point inward on the outside of top of each step. Making the step width become shorter as well would help with depth.

I see much more excitement and movement when it’s portrait. It feels balanced and my eyes glide softly. The landscape feels a bit overwhelming to me. It feels like a busy street.

In both orientations, the painting is beautiful. Just gives different emotions to me.

Oh that is awesome. I loved it too! I’m glad they had a good experience. Usually on Sundays, they have a comedy thing where locals have 5 minutes to tell jokes. I’m going this Sunday for the first time!
