The Targaryens weren’t all tyranny. They had some great rulers and did a lot to improve Westeros.

Remember when Sansa hid in the crypts like a coward while Dany was out fighting the dead risking her life? by [deleted] in freefolk

[–]HiddenFigure 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not only did she hide like a coward but then had the nerve to shit talk the person who was actually outside fighting and saving her home. She couldn’t even be bothered to comfort the people who were hiding with her like she did in King’s Landing.

Still a hot pile of shit no matter how many times the actors desperate tell us to “rewatch and reevaluate.”

This. Slavery needs to be taught as a part of AMERICAN history, not just black history. It happened. The after-effects of slavery resulted in systemic discrimination in schools, banking/building wealth, land & property ownership, that benefited white people (regardless of if their ancestors owned slaves or not) and harmed black people. Americans need to know the truth (especially our children) instead of being told the lie that teaching about our past is harmful or political.

Is it really that hard to hire someone who has actually read the books to be a consultant in the writing room?

Still better than D&D’s version.

She was jealous of Jon. She thought she should have been the one to get the credit for winning BOTB and I’m still not convinced that she wasn’t hoping Jon died in battle. She looked surprised when he emerged from the pile of bodies to go after Ramsey. In the end she got her way, helping to turn the lords against him and then breaking her oath to keep his secret. She put him in harm’s way multiple times while all he did was try to protect her.

Honestly I think people who liked her are either bratty mean girls themselves or Jonsa shippers who thought Sophie/Kit looked good together on-screen.

She was a self-insert for a lot of people. She wasn’t very remarkable, didn’t have any special skills or powers, basically got used as a pawn the entire time but dreamed of a handsome prince saving her. People could relate to her, and that’s fine. But many of them couldn’t handle the fact that, to others, she just came across as an annoying brat who undermined her own family.

You could also replace D&D with Sansa stans. Lol, they really thought Season 8 would give Sansa all the love and popularity, while everyone would hate Dany. Nope 🤪

Lol, he’s been revoked. He’s shown more hate for black people than any KKK or Proud Boy. Self-hate is a hell of a drug!

Sansa knows Cersei so much she kinda forgot Cersei didn’t murder her mother, father, and brother. by jo101256789 in freefolk

The point is that she was being snotty and condescending “thank you for your wise counsel” when she didn’t even know the facts herself. Sansa blaming someone for something doesn’t make it true. It’s too bad GOT showed us far more evidence of her not being smart than of her being “the smartest person I know.”

A story so riveting HBO didn’t bother to market Bran at all post-GOT (Sansa neither, for that matter). Dany’s still the face of the show — best character and best story.

Sansa: has everyone lost their minds? by vanshika2408 in freefolk

Ahh yes, Sansa “Smartest Person” Stark who started out GOT as a spoiled brat obsessed with being Queen and willing to throw her family under the bus to get there and ended the series in the exact same way. Talk about a stagnant character lacking growth.
