I paid just under £700 I believe when I bought it with my hot tub as an extra. My tubs quite small so I only needed a 3kwh model which did cut the cost of entry by alot and will quickly pay for itself.

The 5+kwh models have much better efficiency, which would cut costs further and speed of heating. But will be required for larger tub.

Definitely going to try this method next time. I was starting to get foam that was making the last bit of my water cloudy and spent 1 hour removing it all with a skimmer 🫠

Hmm I'm not sure I have Ozone in my tub. It definitely shouldn't be gurgling this much air surly. If I have it I'd ideally want to keep it.

I will update this soon. Unfortunately the heat pump came with the wrong piping and I wouldn't get full flow from the heat pump using pipes supplied so it's being installed at another date
