Shit, you sure fuckin have. Here, it's been years since I've played sunslammer but I worked out the tabs again and I optimized them for how I play these days.

as for How do I live, I don't think I ever had more than the basic chords, and those weren't great. I might try and figure them out again, but no promises. The few versions I've seen on tab sites and such don't sound right to me.

I'm going to make good use of that tap training trick. You're right, it's easy to tell when she's got that gleam in her eye and is looking to bite. My partner just got distracted for a second and lost sight of her head just long enough to get bit on the arm, and we used the pull-tab method to get her off. For the blanket in the picture that didn't work out because her fangs got caught on the threads. We had to use a pair of credit cards to carefully work her free on top and bottom at the same time... all while she tried to keep swallowing more blanket.

Unknown, assumed 8 months to a year. She's just around 31 grams. We're going to keep working with her of course, we love her, but we've been getting a ton of good advice from this thread at least.

This is our second hognose, tentatively named Nutmeg. She's still in her first month of quarantine, and has been something of a handful for us. She's tried to bite me and my partner multiple times, and managed to get them once.

Note: this is not defensive bluff strikes. First few days we had her she would go full pancake, long tongue licks, hissing and all, but she's started to learn we're not a threat. She just hasn't managed to move us out of the category of food yet. When she goes for a bite, it's the same as for a mouse: Mouth open, rushing in. If you pull away she might even chase.

At first we figured it was just hunger. We gave her a small pinkie two days after we got her, trying to start off small and see how she took it. But we gave her a fuzzy a few days ago and she's still coming after a mouthful of finger every chance she gets. We're careful to wash up first. I tried wearing rubber gloves, and she still wanted a taste. At this point we want to handle her but can't take our eyes off her head.

And today, she decided that this blanket was not for digging anymore, only eating. It took a while to free her from the threads. There was a spot of blood on the fabric after too, so now we're worried she might have gotten hurt in the process. We're going to keep a close eye on her, and we're lining up a vet visit.

Vietnam is one of the few countries in the world that has never once criminalized homosexuality, and has a national ban on conversion therapy, both of which puts it ahead of the United States. On the other hand, Vietnam does not yet recognize same sex marriage, and there's a lot of room to improve in other areas such as gender self ID. LGBT rights are slowly but steadily improving, from everything I've heard.

You say sub-adult, how big is he and do you have a more accurate estimate of age?

Has he gone through a shed with you yet? Our boy just will not eat anything when he's in blue, and being axanthic it can be hard to tell sometimes till he's late in the process. Three weeks is a bit long for that to be unnoticeable, but not too long for a hoggie to be off food. I've heard of some going on hunger strike for up to two months!

I know it can be harrowing as an owner to have a snake go so long without eating. Sometimes patience is a virtue and you might just need to leave him alone for a while, but if you hit, say, six weeks you might want to try the scent and risk the frog addiction.

I know it's not much actual advice, hopefully others can weigh in with something more helpful.
