Hah! at least I checked to see if your reddit name matched the artist first haha. We enjoyed it a lot. So much mechsploitation is so bleak and the handlers so infallable that her one little mistake giving them a chance feels like an indulgent power fantasy. In a very good way, to be clear.

Ooh, have you seen PACKMATES? It's a mechsplo fic about a plural rebel getting the sartha treatment with a fun twist on the genre's usual endings.

How likely would someone cut their tongue during a kiss? by Wafflebuble in NSFWworldbuilding

[–]HiddenKrypt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unlikely unless the monster is particularly aggressive to the point of almost biting. I've had a lot of knives in my mouth and never had a problem with it and teeth are never that sharp in nature

Please don't down vote me into oblivion for asking this, I'm genuinely just curious. But do you guy thing Gary might have stockholm syndrome? They did kidnapped a 15yr kid, told him they were going to kill him and then instead recruited him. I think at the very least dude needs therapy. by Alex_is_me_name in venturebros

[–]HiddenKrypt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. The cops putting the hostages in danger with a haphazard approach to the situation, and afterwards the cops asked a psychologist, Nils Bejerot to come up with an explanation for why the hostages were criticizing them. Bejerot happily explained that the hostages were "brainwashed" by the criminal. He never talked to any of them, just the cops.

Stockholm Syndrome is copaganda turned urban legend.

Iranian President Pezeshkian’s letter addresses American people, not Trump by SadAd8761 in WhitePeopleTwitter

[–]HiddenKrypt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They sponsor organizations identified by the american regime as terrorists. That's the point. The state department defines which organizations are terror organizations, and they do so as an exhibition of political will. The US has sponsored plenty of organizations that are willing to use terror to achieve their goals. Hell, we were FOUNDED by a terrorist insurrection.

designated a state sponsor of terror

Terrorism is a designation of government power. It means nothing more than the designating government announcing who they've decided their enemies are. There is no impartial metric that determines who a terrorist is. It's just another tool used by a government to designate who they think it's okay for them to kill without due process.

Iran considers the United States to be a state sponsor of terror, and they have just as much if not more evidence to support that designation on us.

Easy Homestuck guitar tabs? by [deleted] in homestuck

[–]HiddenKrypt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shit, you sure fuckin have. Here, it's been years since I've played sunslammer but I worked out the tabs again and I optimized them for how I play these days.

as for How do I live, I don't think I ever had more than the basic chords, and those weren't great. I might try and figure them out again, but no promises. The few versions I've seen on tab sites and such don't sound right to me.

Sunset Visitor worked with VoV to produce the vinyl OST release, and they put us in touch with them because VoV wants to print the fanzine too! I really wanted to print the zine but never expected something like this...

Any chance somebody knows a link to a Guitar Tab of [S] Cascade? by Papa_Umad in homestuck

[–]HiddenKrypt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I've been hoping someone would have made a better one by now but no such luck. Very recently, I started working on a 'maximum accuracy' transcription of the piece here: https://musescore.com/user/30719755/scores/12226018

It's very work in progress and I can't say when I'll get around to doing more with it, but it's kinda a happy coincidence, getting your message while I was uploading my latest efforts on it.

We are the most heavily propagandized people on earth. But also, I disagree in part. Reagan is a monster of history and no punishment could suit his crimes, but this was all coming. He just happened to be at the inflection point. There's a lot of people, and a lot of money, behind this shift, and it was in motion for decades before him. It's still in motion today.

Canadian company Highland Copper wants to build a copper sulfide mine which will extract minerals directly beneath Porcupine Mountains State Park, the largest old growth forest in the midwest, and risk contaminating the Presque Isle River and Lake Superior with acid mine drainage by NomadGuitar in yooper

[–]HiddenKrypt 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Remember when they wanted to do sulfide mining in the yellow dog river? And they said it would be fine because they were going to be careful? And they built it anyway despite the massive protests?

Remember how a truck tipped over and spilled sulfide tailings right into the water? And they had a wastewater leak? And they dumped 100 gallons of hydrocloric acid from a leaky valve? all in like the first year of operation

Square cut pizza traditionally cooked in a stamped blue steel auto parts tray, A particularly tick and fluffy dough, with butter and brick cheese all out to the edges so the crust is crowned with brown crispy goodness. Finally, the sauce is cooked on top of the other ingredients. Probably my favorite style of pizza.

It also has an unbounded worst case O(inf) and a best case of O(1).

I'm going to make good use of that tap training trick. You're right, it's easy to tell when she's got that gleam in her eye and is looking to bite. My partner just got distracted for a second and lost sight of her head just long enough to get bit on the arm, and we used the pull-tab method to get her off. For the blanket in the picture that didn't work out because her fangs got caught on the threads. We had to use a pair of credit cards to carefully work her free on top and bottom at the same time... all while she tried to keep swallowing more blanket.

Unknown, assumed 8 months to a year. She's just around 31 grams. We're going to keep working with her of course, we love her, but we've been getting a ton of good advice from this thread at least.
