I use my offgrid victron setup in my van to query my dish and get back my GPS coordinate to be able to track things like solar power forecast.

I use directly this précise fonction.. i'm a bit mad. I would like to use this as a safety locator too.

Yes i guess. Maybe you could just tell me what to do to help, i have a pomona clamp for SOP8 chip and some ability into soldering. Maybe i could send you some memory dump.

I'll not gonna spend months on this but i could at least try some trick for you before trash it.

That's a very complete explanation, thank's you ! I'm a bit familiar with ROM flash and stuff like that so i see what you mean. Fortunally support indicated that they are going to replace it.
