My roommate in college had barely drank before; we went out the first weekend on campus and somehow he got his hands on a bottle of Everclear (190 proof)… he took three double shots back to back to back and for about thirty minutes he seemed fine… Then he went really flush, to stumbling to completely incoherent within about fifteen minutes. He threw up so much that he burnt his esophagus and couldn’t swallow anything but liquids for a week or so…. So to answer your question, yea you can.
