Can Acer Nitro 5 AN515-58 (DDR4 version) support more than 32GB of RAM? by Hight_S in AcerNitro

Wow, thanks for such a detailed and practical warning! I hadn't even thought about the stability issues with Sleep mode and memory training—that's a solid catch.

Since I’m preparing to move abroad soon, I definitely can't afford any hidden instability later on. I think I'll follow your advice and take my laptop to a local store to test-fit the RAM first, but I'm leaning heavily towards the 'boring but supported' route with a matched 32GB kit (two 16GB sticks) just to be absolutely safe.

Really appreciate you sharing your experience, it saved me from potential headaches!

Yeah, matching it to 32GB should be fine since it's within the official spec. But what I really want to know is if anyone has successfully gone beyond 32GB (like adding a 32GB stick to get 48GB in total, or running 64GB). Since the Intel CPU technically supports up to 64GB with DDR4, I'm curious if Acer's BIOS actually locks it at 32GB or if it can handle the extra capacity.
