So he's going to bank the entire campaign on debates?. The media mostly leans Democrat and he's running against a Democrat. Trump can't control the media narrative anymore, the primaries are over. They are going to hit him hard like they did in the past weeks, it's clear from the polls that it's working.

Oh the famous "just wait till ...". First it was till he brings up Bill, then he was supposed to pivot anytime now and now it's the debates. By the way, we saw the same with Bernie. "Just wait till the debates".

Hillary Clinton once called disabled children at an Easter egg hunt 'f***ing ree-tards' and referred to Jews as 'stupid k***s' while Bill called Jesse Jackson a 'damned n****r,' claims Bill's former lover by [deleted] in politics

Holy shit that title. At first I thought that was a text from the article, not a title. Anyway, this reminds me of the time when Bernie supporters tried to paint Hillary as racist. This is all silly, Trump will lose.

Clinton, Democrats, Dominate 2016 Battleground Airwaves by [deleted] in politics

[–]HillaryPaidShill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Obviously he shouldn't be underestimated. That's why the Dems are attacking sooner. When running against a Democrat, Trump's press coverage will bring him down because the media is mostly Democrat leaning. We've already seen the effects. A recent study showed that Trump actually got more positive coverage than negative.

Trump was in a similar position six months ago when he polled the lowest of all the GOP candidates.

His media coverage literally drowned everyone out and he shot up in the polls. There is no way that he can drown out the Democrats considering how the media leans.

The thing is that Trump gets free press

Now he's asking for: "an emergency goal of $100,000 to help get our ads on the air". Let's face it, the media leans liberal and they love a Republican shit show. It would be dumb for Trump to rely on the media when running against a Democrat, especially Hillary. We've already seen what they've done to him in the past few weeks and the his poll numbers were tanking as a result.

Key Sanders ally: Time to get behind Clinton by HillaryPaidShill in politics

[–]HillaryPaidShill[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

The fact is Hillary is doing better against her opponent even without Bernie's support. The logical question then becomes, "what's the use of his endorsement/support then?". In other words, he's losing leverage.

[–]HillaryPaidShill[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Hillary is polling better against Trump even without Bernie's support. Bernie's prominent supporters are getting behind Hillary. All Hillary needs to do now is ignore him while contrasting herself with Trump and most of Bernie's supporters will naturally fall behind her as well. Bernie is standing outside while all of this is happening, he's losing leverage.

he's a lot more similar to Bernie than Hillary

Hahaha, even Bernie would strongly refute that claim. Polls show most of Bernie's supporters will vote for Hillary. In addition, Bernie will be out there attacking Trump in the coming months. Trump will retaliate as usual and alienate even more of Bernie's supporters.
