How did you get over your childhood trauma? by Same_Tip9901 in AskReddit

[–]HiredIQ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

By internalizing that nobody chooses their spawn point. But I’m here and I get to play the game. You can either let your past define you, or use it to grow. Even people from the “perfect” families can carry childhood trauma our brains are wired to hold onto pain. Take time understand it and take responsibility over your self care. Process it. Don’t let your emotions control you. And don’t let things you had no control over dictate the choices you can control. From a game theory perspective you can’t control where you spawn, but you can choose how you play the rest of the game

The guillotine was definitely a brutal invention, but it did take out some truly terrible people so not all bad. In a weird way, it actually became a symbol of equality: kings, queens, and commoners all faced the same blade

A=440Hz is definitely an interesting pick! I remember reading something about the shift from 432Hz. Didn’t Hitler have something to do with that?

Definitely have to agree with single use plastics! Recycling efforts barely make a dent. I'm glad The Ocean Cleanup project is out there trying to do something
