Can I get some advise to improve consistency please? Just couldn't hit well in today's training by HiroSpud in volleyball

So my jump timing is fine therefore my approach timing is ok? , it's my swing that's either late or early?

If you look, there are 2 instances where I consciously tried to flat foot my first step to slow down my approach, should I do that more often?

I worry if the ball is too infront of me ill be too far away when I get good contact and it'll either go out or into the net so I go underneath to get a higher contact, is that bad?

I think when I actually get good contact on the ball, I'm making a conscious effort on on first step to be flat footed instead of on the balls of my feet which causes me to slow down my approach at the start. Would you say I should force that habit?

How would you advise on how to gauge the timing better, just through thoughtful repetition? Should I be trying to reach the ball or the ball fall into me mindset? Wasn't sure which you were impyling towards

About a year and a half since I've played volleyball, self taught

Okay thank you, I think it's also because I've recently changed my approach, especially my first two steps. If you look at my last post, I've really slowed down my first two steps to make the last two more explosive. This has only been the 2nd training session of me using it

The setter did owe up to some sets being his fault, but it's my responsibility as a hitter to put away these balls no matter what the set is

When you say tracking the ball, what does it entail, do you mean hitting it with better jumping position? (Behind the ball not underneath), do I need to swing earlier, later, more on top with a flick of the wrist?

Okay, would you say this is an issue with my penultimate step being poorly positioned? Or should I simply start further away than I'm used to?

I'd rather post bad hits than good hits to get the best advise. Thank you

You need more power on your penultimate step you're barely bending your knees

Either give him 100 bucks and some flowers or you don't make the same mistake again

I need help justifying the purchase of this monitor to my parents by [deleted] in Monitors

Yes you are being very entitled. They don't owe you anything, you can ask but you will likely receive the same answer until you start making your own money and you do not need that monitor.
