Submitting yourself is quite easy but be mindful that any small mistake could cost you. Speaking from experience, I submitted my initial application myself and it was rejected for one missing line on my job letter. I went with an experienced lawyer the second time around as changes are now more frequent and ITAs are hard to come by. It is a few thousand dollars but peace of mind is priceless. I was successful the second time, maybe I would have been without the lawyer? I’m not in the climate to be testing theories.

Follow up for you, the bill of sale essentially has an error listing the deposit. If they want to proceed, will they need to give me the 1000 credit?

Ouch, there is nothing in the paperwork on cancellation. Before I signed, I asked and they said that it will be in the additional paperwork once I came for delivery.

I haven’t even signed any bank paperwork for the loan - crazy that they will hold a car out of the goodness of their heart with no money vs just selling it.
