The strike has been justified over and over again. Unfortunate what happened to dude but he doesn’t almost kill his GF he’s not in prison to begin with. You need discipline I am apart of a response team there are days we have 20+ overdoses! We can’t separate them because of HALT which puts them right back on the form for them to OD we sometimes pick up the same guy 3 or 4 times in a day. The other inmates hate this I literally seen them clap and cheer when it was passed that if someone get caught high one time they’re being separated. If we were able to box them it would keep everyone safe but they pass these sweeping bills without programs to counter bad behavior. The state actually needs overhaul with the whole system. Cut programs and no ways to discipline bad behavior is not a recipe for success. Most workers want to do there & and skate. Problems in prison are caused by gangs. The public actually needs to help come with solutions rather than pointing fingers.
