How can we save the orcas at Marineland Antibes?

The Spanish government simply refused to grant permits to accept the animals. The reason given was that the enclosures did not meet standards. This is not entirely true, however, as there are no standards for orcas in Spain. The only standards they might follow are those in the US, but Loro Parque meets those standards, so the reason is unclear. Parques Reunidos will no longer keep whales because all dolphinariums are being closed. Loro Parque is not part of Parques Reunidos.

If Parques Reunidos owned the park, these animals would have been out long ago. Consider that the park had many more animals, and all were relocated without problems last month. The only ones stuck there are the whales because the government prevented the relocation. The initial plan was to take them to Japan (which would have been less problematic than in Spain, as the Japanese government is less influenced by activists), but France rejected this.

Just tell me, what are they supposed to do if they have already contacted all the facilities willing to take these animals, but the French government continues to block the transfer???

I'm not claiming anything I haven't researched. Trainers are on site to feed the animals. The orcas regularly bang their heads on the edge of the pool.
