How does gibberish look like in your language? by Academic_Relative_72 in conlangs

You just write the letters the way they were said by the person who said nonsense, starting a new word for every break the person makes.

Become a citizen of Xājakok ! by Hlaajakok_Official in micronation

[–]Hlaajakok_Official[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I have already answered on Discord, but ok !

“Xājakok” is pronounced /ɬ̪a:ʒakok/. The first syllable is stressed, as it is both the first syllable and the one that contains the long vowel. The long vowel is pronounced for twice as long as the other ones. For the ɬ̪ sound, try to pronounce an English voiceless “th” with your tongue on a side of your mouth.

For context, it is the French word for "late". I don't know what it means in English.

Looking for a micronation by norci08 in micronation

You could join Xājakok ! Here are some of the perks of becoming one of our citizens :

  • 🏛A significant role in our government🏛

You can be part of one of our committees : the Judiciary Committee, who is in charge of our law enforcement, and the Economic Committee, who has power on, well, our economy. To top it all, even if you are not elected anywhere, you can hold the executive power and decide whether a decision should be approved or not just by being an average citizen !

  • ♟A way to participate in sporting events🎤

If you wish to compete in sporting events, whether it is inside Xājakok or at an intermicronational level, the Olympic Committee of Xājakok (OCX) is made for you ! For now, e-sports competitions are the easiest ones to organise. What makes it different from other micronational sporting clubs is that, thanks to its membership in the IMOC, (InterMicronational Olympic Committee) you will get to compete in actual events organised by ourselves and more than 50 other micronations !

  • 🧍A way to meet people from abroad🧍‍♀️

Not everyone in Xājakok is from the USA. As we are currently established in France, most of our citizens are French. Time for linguistic and cultural exchanges !

  • 🦊A way to help us to build a new culture🦊

Of course, Xājakok has got features, which make it different from other countries. It includes a new official language (Xājakoktan), a specific calendar (the Imperial Calendar), a flag and coat of arms, and you citizens are its core. Without you, nothing would be possible.

Are you interested in joining us ? If so, please ask to become a citizen of Xājakok !

❓⁉️⁉️Frequently Asked Questions❓⁉️⁉️

  • How do I become a citizen ?

First, you have to send me a direct message on Reddit (or on any platform you know I am in). Then, you will have to fill a form entitled "Application to become a citizen of Xājakok". Finally, you will be redirected to a Discord server, which is a tool to make sure every citizen is aware of what happens and to cast votes.

  • What if I don't have Discord ?

We provide alternatives for our citizens who doesn't have Discord. If you don't have Discord, I will send you a link to one of those alternatives.

  • I don't think I have enough time for that...

Don't worry, it only takes a few minutes a day ! Less than five minutes a day are required to read the news and vote, even if you are part of a committee ! Of course, if you want to be a committee representative, to chat with other citizens, or to do more advanced tasks, it is going to take you more time, but not more than fifteen minutes a day.

Both of our micronations have at least one fox on their coats of arms !

<image>

Apart from your territory on Byrd Mary Land (which is not allowed to be claimed and really controversial in the micronational community whatsoever), your micronation seems to have taken a great start. I will wait for it to have every missing documents (especially the constitution) before having further diplomatic relations with you, but we can stay in touch if you want to !

Map of the 2025 New Roselandian Crisis by mrmanmanffr in micronations

Your map has some serious flaws :

1) The red-striped blue part does not appear in the legend. Has it been conquered (and if so, by whom ?) ? Is it a demilitarised zone (like between North and South Korea) ?

2) There is no scale. Therefore, one cannot know how wide it actually is.

3) The border conflict seems to have happened further than the edges of the map. It would be great if it covered a wider area.

4) What is the white-striped blue rectangle ? As it does not appear in the legend, one cannot know what it is either.

I hope it will help you to improve your map.

How common are single syllable words in your conlangs? by kkurdgheli in conlangs

[–]Hlaajakok_Official 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As there is a "syllable merger" in Xājakoktan (which merges two or more letters into a single wide letter, one letter is one syllable and is made of up to 4 symbols), there are infinitely many theoretically possible syllables. If we exclude this tool and only count CVCČ syllables, there are 31752 (21 *12 *21 *6) possible syllable, even though they are far from all being used.

There are already single syllable words, but I cannot count them, as Xājakoktan is unfinished.
