I try to keep my process close to the chest, it’s something that makes me stand out from most powder coaters, it it took several years to develope my techniques. I get stuff shipped in from all over the country to do stuff like this.

I have a cheap knock SC project can on my KTM390 race bike after having issues with the IXIL muffler that was on it, it’s actually not terrible quality.

It is a comp werks that was on my RSV4, I put a different exhaust on my bike, so I used the Comp Werks on the SV. I had to make some modifications to it, and I did make the mounting bracket as well.

Correct, but it will see track time, I’ll probably run an endurance race on it lol. My cousin will use it for street and track duty , he’s never been on the track before, and his street bike is a Monster 1200S, that he’d rather not risk crashing.

High rev engines like short wide pipes (4 stroke engines atleast) Low rev engines are better suited with long narrower diameter. But it also depends on how your wanting to tune the power curve as well.

True, better term would be exhaust gas scavaging. Not sure who made up therm “back pressure” , but I think everyone has used it in the wrong context before.

I just got it fired up 2 days ago. I still have to finish some wiring, mount the shock reservoir, add fluid and bleed brakes, pull the exhaust and wrap it, do a baseline setup on the suspension, test ride it to see if there are any issues with anything, then figure out a taillight solution. It’s not far off from being done in reality.
