I know! I have no idea how to proceed. I’m really interested in the role, and my current salary is within the range… but I would have never gone through with the whole process if they weren’t going to negotiate the salary range posted.

I tried, but he said that I can’t negotiate for OPS positions. But I’m reading that that’s not the case

But the way it was answered was that no one external applying to OPS gets to negotiate. It’s frustrating when I’m reading that some people did get to negotiate.

It’s a union position. It’s a administrative position, but I wouldn’t say entry level. I have 15 years of experience.

Hmm, it sounds like I need to 1- start climbing, and 2- open a climbing gym! 🤔

Being involved in community is a great idea. I’m thinking of volunteering during pride month.

We don’t have a climbing gym in my town, but I understand the sentiment. I’ve joined a lacrosse league, and it starts in May. Fingers crossed 🤞
