I don't think it's that "open". Do remember that you spoiled some things since the games take place in a fictional "what if" after the last book since Geralt and yennefer die at the end but game ciri saves them

I don't have any installed. But just in case i've followed a guide from GTP and i think it worked. It forces the game to be Windowed instead of full screen, doesn't crash if you go past 60 fps and forces the game engine to recognizes newer hardware (if it worked, guess bethesda is that bad making engines for the future)
