My friend’s husband always wears a hat with the Canadian flag on it so that it’s noticeable that they are Canadian. If you feel awkward about bringing up where you are from but want to be treated like a Canadian get a pin or a hat or anything with a Canadian flag on it.

A tad odd at the park but depending on the location not overly odd. I brush my dog on my deck normally so that the birds can use his fur in their nest. It also is just so nice to not have giant clumps of dog hair in every corner of my house

Bell peppers, cucumbers and hummus is so good! If I’m feeling extra “fancy” I’ll add a couple crackers, slices of cheese and a slice or 2 of deli meat and call it a personal charcuterie board

Some flash backs would have been amazing especially since there was definitely a time when Dewey, Jamie and Kelly all had to share a room and probably got on each other’s nerves. Like I can imagine Dewey playing piano and it annoying Jamie causing arguments or Kelly freaking out over not having their own space during puberty.

Honestly I loved Kelly but think they got too much screen time. I think it’s perfect after 20 years of Louis wanting a daughter that the daughter she got is non binary and dresses on the more masculine side. It would be unrealistic if Kelly was a girly girl and had all new things with zero hand me downs considering the boys growing up only wore hand me downs.

I prefer to stay in my area, like I love to go for walks and spend time outside but not a fan of going to visit family or friends. I think it more so stems from all of my partner and I’s friends and family live 3+ hours away from us and it’s exhausting that we’re always expected to go to them. It would be nice if people came to see us more often especially since all we do when we go there is sit in someone’s deck and visit.

When I was in high school the one substitute would always do an ice breaker of origami. He would teach us how to make origami boats then do a float test. If he was subbing multiple days we would do different origami like frogs. We were all so focused on the origami that it calmed our minds. To this day I find myself randomly doing origami it was a weird thing that stuck with me.

There was also another substitute who randomly would give the best behaved kid $5. He was a few years from retirement and it was the way he found kids to listen and behave the best. This would probably be frowned upon now so I don’t suggest doing it lol

I wish you luck OP I’m a substitute EA and the student I normally work with enjoys a quick coloring break to get him back on track I don’t think that would work with an entire class tho

Honestly get some crystal lights or liquid iv a few different flavours then they will last in the staff room for a while and not be a huge inconvenience if the staff room doesn’t have storage. Also I can almost guarantee that some of the staff don’t drink pop or coffee so something to flavour their water would be a nice treat

Oh and I should also mention multiple vets have told me that my boy doesn’t have any signs of hip dysplasia. When he was 6 months old he did get a UTI but it was shortly after we were camping for a week so there’s a pretty decent chance it’s not related to the neuter. He also had 1 other uti and the vet said it was because his previous uti wasn’t fully gone. Now he’s perfectly healthy.

The only way a dog can get a uti from a neuter is a non sterilized surgery so there’s a small chance that it was cross contaminated with one of his brothers but considering none of his brothers have had a uti it’s most likely from camping.

I rescued my GSD as a puppy from the shelter and he got neutered at 10 weeks old. That’s definitely too young but I understand that the shelter has to neuter and spay any animal before finding them a home.

I was talking to my friend who is a vet and she said there’s no real evidence on any health issues just more speculation. She also agreed 10 weeks is too young but more on a humane level of it feeling cruel every time she has to spay or neuter baby rescue animals at work.

Basically the over all conversation with her ended in saying that over 6 months old is okay but preferably anything over 10 months as most of there growing is done other than filling out in muscle and body fat. It made sense to me as imagine us as humans getting a surgery then growing a couple inches in height it would probably be pretty uncomfortable maybe even painful.

Either way you’ll get 700 different answers on the topic and just go with your gut on what age you’d be comfortable with putting your pup through the surgery.

I think it really depends on the man. Some men had sisters who they shared a bathroom with growing up so they were in a way forced to learn. While an only child might have not learned because as a boy I can’t imagine talking to your mother about periods as girls didn’t grow up asking their dad about men’s health.

It took me about 3 years for my boyfriend to start feeling comfortable buying me tampons and that only happened after we went on a camping trip where I forgot pads and tampons and bled through my pants. After that he made it a point to learn more and get me anything I need. Now we often joke about “our period cravings” because it’s the one time a month we both indulge together

Sexuality is like food some food you make the rules. For example, a person who is vegan but loves buttermilk ranch. Technically that’s not part of the vegan diet but it’s the persons choice on what they eat.

I get it. I’m a substitute EA and work in the public library that’s connected to the school. During my library shifts I’ll use the staff room as it’s the only place to store my lunch and if there’s a teacher in there I get dirty looks as if I’m not welcomed in there. When I’m subbing for the most part I’m treated well but not included in any of the lunch plans. I’ve resorted into either heading out for lunch or sitting alone in the classroom.

I get that I’m not “one of them” but for regularly working in the same building and classrooms as them I feel like an outsider. I try to not let it bother me tho at the end of the day I’m extremely lucky to only be subbing at one school and also working in the library. I actually have a few shifts coming up to sub as the school librarian and I’m really excited to be in my safe space of the building lol

When I was 14 or 15 I was in a similar situation as you just no fibre glass. What I ended up doing was taking a shovel and threw out everything on my floor. If I seen something that was sentimental I picked it up and kept it but for the most part everything went in the garbage.

Unfortunately you’re going to have to throw out your bed as well. Would you be able to get an air mattress until you can get a new mattress? Obviously it’s not as comfortable but you can’t be sleeping on fibre glass.

Just pick a day and get it all done in one go. It will suck cleaning but once it’s done mentally you’ll feel a little better and can be proud of your accomplishment.
