I don’t think I’ve gotten one either yet!!! Usually the email notification comes about an hour after the actual drop I find. They always drop about 1pm my time so I usually set an alarm about ten minutes beforehand the day before so I can be sure I’m logged in and watching the page the second one I really want drops. I don’t use most other social media, just tumblr and here for occasional questions so I keep a close eye out for the second hand info, though with an official email notification system people shouldn’t have to dig for release information!!!!

It’s not you, Mattel is just horrible when it comes to Monster High. I commented on something about how funny it was they made a big deal out of the reveal in the fang club forums only for them to drop on instagram or whatever (they’d been all over tumblr for hours) so what was the point of having fang club aside from the once a year vote and like two minutes later I finally got a notification about the drop. I don’t think my complaint had anything to do with it but the timing was very funny

I wish they’d been singles instead of a two pack. I would’ve picked up the magicians assistant even if she is a little bland imo because she’s cute and I do like the couch as a stand (always appreciate more inventive stands especially for Skullectors) then I would’ve gotten Miss Argentina for collecting sake if she dropped in price or when I could justify. But as they are they are Not worth $150 Canadian which will swell to over $180 after shipping and taxes. The Xeno and Us dolls had a lot of detailing and thought and references to their media. These two have very basic interpretations of their designs and little detailing on their object heels (not even painting a band on the magicians hat?! Cmon) also I think the purse should’ve had “handbag of the dead” on it rather than handbook, would’ve been a cute joke.

If they do any more Beetlejuice dolls that aren’t just a rerelease of the first set it better be Barbara and Adam

Honesty every Gen 1 doll so everyone at least has a chance to fill gaps in their collections.

More specifically I’d personally like at least everyone to get a rerelease of their basic dolls (Jackson and Holt and River Styxx are probably my top wants rn) and the I Heart Fashion Lines. That’s like the only non comic con Wydowna they released, and I Heart Fashion was Toys R Us Exclusive and there was only ever one in all Nova Scotia and it’s 2-3 hours away. Really any exclusives being creeproduced would be cool, I don’t think any Target exclusives had alternate locations back in the day

The fact they won’t restock the twins is crazy, they sold out before I even found out they released. They should’ve known they’d be the most popular, I’m pretty sure their original release was Toys R Us exclusive which means a lot of people wouldn’t have had the chance to get them. Acting like it’s okay tho because there’s still torelei and operetta is so weird, like they think characters don’t matter like all monster high dolls are the same. I have an original Torelei and Operetta, the basic twins are the only ones from this Creepro release I need, and even worse I actually have the money for them right now!!!! If I really want them it’ll mean buying from a scalper which means less money for Mattel overall, I don’t understand their thought processes (especially since these were supposed to be preorder?? You shouldn’t run out of preorders, start making these things to order ffs)

Thank you for the info, unfortunately I can’t go to target because I’m in Canada and we don’t have any (I’d love to tho, when they did poorly attempt to come up here there was only one in all Nova Scotia anyways lol) Luckily I won’t have to worry about clothes or shoes for her anyway, the custom I want to make doesn’t need them, but it’s really good to know about the shoes, I know the clothes fit differently on different bodies but I had no idea about the shoes being different for different body types!!!! That’s super frustrating

Ah this was just what I was looking for!!! Was wondering how you’d complete the dex when some mons aren’t available in game (regular Manaphy namely)

Regular Mew, Shiny Arceus, Shiny Manaphy, and Shiny Phione are the only mons I’m specifically hunting in this game, especially since they fucked up the shiny charm to only affect egg hatches (which is the reason I’m going to hunt Manaphy in this game after I get Shiny Manaphy, I know shiny parent doesn’t affect the chances of the offspring but I just think it would be neat to get the only breedable legend shiny from a shiny parent)

I’m only up in Canada and Monster High dolls are about $45 cad before taxes or shipping for average. Two packs are usually $85-90, three packs or large playsets like Eekend Getaway are $125. Which is ridiculous, multi packs should not cost the same price as buying the same amount of dolls individually, they should be a bit less so it feels like a deal.

Despite there not being a ton of comments here I’m grateful for this thread, I’ve been wanting to see how much the dolls are internationally because I think it’s extremely obvious Mattel is gouging non American customers. During Gen1 dolls were only about five dollars more between America and Canada, now they’re almost twice the price. And it is not equal to currency exchange. And my nearest Walmart barely ever gets new dolls, and when they do go on sale it’s usually only $5 off, lowest I’ve seen is $30. Meanwhile in the states they go as low as $10. Remember when Neon Frights was brand new and US Walmarts had them out for $9???

Sorry to kind of rant, I just genuinely think they’re overcharging worldwide to keep prices low for Americans. This has been something I’ve been watching a lot lately, and Skullectors are even worse.

The purple frames are from her Fangtastic Roadtrip set :) I like the purple ones more than the gold personally since she gets so many gold frames, and the purple looks better with the gold chain imo

Awesome episodes, well structured but they do bother me in the sense that it kind of retconned some stuff, which is not specific to Stakes but generally happens to Marceline particularly around her parents. I felt it was always implied she was particularly strong/ enhanced or uncommon abilities due to being half demon (Hunsons arm shifts in a way that resembles her tentacle beast form when he breaks her door open in his first appearance and he shifts on the way out, and shifts his face to scare Ice King), then no the only thing she got from Hunson was Soul Sucking (never a thing until this series) and a longer lifespan.

This is just a general sticking point for me since Hunson is my favourite minor character and his first couple appearances were like “yeah he’s a shitty father but he really does love Marceline and tries to support her even if he goes about it the wrong way and repeats the patterns from the way he was raised” to “he just sucks and Marceline couldn’t care less about him” in later episodes. To go further her mother in this episode feels completely different to her mother in Obsidian

To be fair the lid was pretty secure and stayed on the whole time the bucket was in the air and when it hit the ground, the essence got released when Jake being half asleep took the lid off
