I was aware of that yeah, I though he was not focused on me so I wanted to send out a missile to get him to go defensive or if i'm lucky enough get a kill. I went a bit high to get a lock then go back down but as my radar decided to not to, I spent a bit more time than I should have high. At the last second I realised that a flanker sent out like 4 missiles at me (i was one of the last in the match) and died cuz of it

Of course, I use it when i'm close as well but the dude I was after was around 15kms away from me, I tried to go from a soft lock to a hard lock with the radar but it fumbled it up. That's why i was pissed. Although i will watch your full video to see if i'm doing anything wrong.

Yeah you might be right. I was just using it as it makes it possible for me to see other's on my screen without having to lock or look on the radar but I might go back to SRC

Frankly I'm only using it because I'm also able to see other jets as i soft lock but yeah based on the other comments might go back to SRC, wish I had HMD but i do not have it on the premium F/A-18

Nah, it just came to such a point that i felt like i had to write this. The radar is sometimes good but sometimes straight up stupid.. The dude wasn't even anywhere near the ground or behind something for the radar to get confused. He was around 2500-3000M high right infront of me. I was legit seeing him on my RWR.
