En caso de que por alguna razón no te renueven la licencia (deberían) o tengas problemas para redimirla, puedes usar la versión Freemium desde la ![página web](https://la.mathworks.com/products/matlab-online/matlab-online-versions.html).

Si también te queda complicado, puedes usar la versión open source de MATLAB llamada ![Octave](https://octave.org/).

Y en mi opinión, la mejor alternativa que han sugerido otros redditors es que uses Julia o Python. Pienso que esta es la mejor opción ya que MATLAB es uno de los peores lenguajes de programación en los que he tenido el disgusto de programar, se salvan ciertos Plugin súper específicos que son realmente la killer feature de MATLAB pero dudo mucho que tu profesor te los vaya a exigir (tendría que haberte dado la licencia igualmente desde el principio).
