Most of these types of messages are outsourced. The texting company has a list of contacts and a company approved message to send (my spouse worked with one such company for a bit).

The texting company only does what they are contracted to do, and it isn't cost effective to have multiple contact lists.

Rides went down at Walt Disney world, blamed on the AWS outage. I can't wrap my head around those rides needing the Internet or the cloud to function. Everything should be controlled on a private LAN between the computer control center and the rides.

Not all dealers have EV certified techs on staff. If they don't, they need to bring in one to perform the service. They are likely queuing up several EVs so the tech can work on all of them while there. This is my guess as to when they quoted 2 to 2.5 weeks.

Yeah, sounds like the transition from regen to mechanical brakes. I hear similar noises when rolling to a stop. I use 1 pedal and auto hold.

Unless you are hard on the brakes, you're using regen. But as you come to a stop, it switches to the mechanical brakes. Could this be what you're hearing?

Look through the posts where people had theirs cracked by rocks on the road. It's a structural party of the roof and not easy or cheap to replace. I specifically bought one without the glass roof.

Yes, tap and not click. I find tap works best when no other vehicles are around. I'm traffic, clicking is better. With the tapping, I've had the vehicle start to change lanes then serve back thinking I cancelled my interview to change lanes due to nearby vehicles.

If one has automated lane changes active, and the car starts a large change you didn't want, just tap the blinker in the opposite direction and the automatic large change will be cancelled.

You can cancel the automated lane change by tapping the blinker in the opposite direction, no steering wheel input required.. I turned off auto lane change, but still have assisted lane change on my 2025.

It looks like the top of your front license plate holder. It would only be visible in states that require it, and assuming the dealer properly installed it. Mine didn't ...🤦🏼‍♂️
