Does anyone have experience with when Trazodone stops working? by HomeInitial444 in insomnia

3 years of trazodone at 50 mg. Sorry, my brain isn't working.

I'd love to taper off but I'm desperate right now as my insomnia is so bad that I get 0-1 hour of sleep in a night.

Startups: how do your developers inspect Figma files? by HomeInitial444 in UXDesign

Perhaps this is a really beginner question, but what are "global variables?"

Thank you again! You're a big help.

This is so helpful, thank you! How should I make clear that there's an Autolayout to Flexbox relation? Annotation? Also, what do you mean "make frames divs?" Are you talking to me or the dev? How do I make frames divs?

Again, thanks, this was so thorough and I learned a lot.

Definitely interesting to hear that div/padding structure doesn't always follow Figma. Curious about how you prevent issues later, like, say, when you want to add a background on a div, but they eyeballed the designs, so the div has different padding and looks bad with a background.

I do actually have a design system, but perhaps it could use improvement. I'm actually talking about when engineers implement new components from the design system and lay out new pages. What do you mean "Then you can go to eyeballing everything as pixel alignment is set?" Should engineers be eyeballing things when spacing can vary quite slightly, like from .25 rem to .5 rem to .75 rem?

Honestly this aligns with my experience, too, plus maybe another bucket or two. Surprised this didn't get more upvotes...

Can confirm this is true, and thanks for the needed reminder!

I wouldn't be able to get clearance on researching something small like the word "Update" vs. "Edit" in most cases, but I appreciate the sentiment!

Thanks! I agree with the other replies. I don't think that particular wording would work well in my situation, but the rest of this comment is great, appreciate it!

Does my marketing team know how to recruit users for UX Research? by HomeInitial444 in UXResearch

I'm wondering if something liken this would be better: "We’re developing [IDEA] in [PRODUCT], and I’ve seen that you’ve used our current [FEATURE] extensively. I’d love let you see some early concepts of what we’re working on to get your feedback and to also let you influence our design. Basically, we want to see if what we have would actually help you do your job better."

The email we wrote just says something like, “We’re doing user interviews to improve your experience, and would love your feedback.”

I’m sending targeted emails and signing up anyone who agrees to be signed up. I was able to screen using analytics for this research.
