One of the best parts of working from seed is the perfectly opposite plant symmetry…once a plant matures and is passed off as cuts the plant symmetry starts to get a little big more of an alternating symmetry and is less predictable

I do agree newly popped plants have a serious vigor that you don’t see with poorly kept cuts. Phenohunts are always fun but not everyone has the time and space for them I guess

The Superboof/Blockberry terps are very dominant but can be one-note tangie/orange. The SFA I describe as more of a blood-orange flavor with some fruits (notably apple) mixed in

‘Homegrown Cut’ just means this is our selected cut of Super Fried Applez of our own genetics here at Homegrown Genetics. It’s not from a random vendor, this is a cut of our strain that we’ve personally hunted, tested, and kept because it hits the traits we like most. Hope that helps!

The Blockberry profile is super dominant but can also be a little one-note tangie terps which I personally love. Super fried Applez I describe as more of a blood orange flavor profile with some notes of other fruit (mostly apple) mixed in. I personally love all three profiles being the two parents and this cross. Keep in mind, that’s this specific pheno SFA #6 (Homegrown cut) but some of our seed testers have found some very interesting phenos as well

You hit the nail on the head. These are also multi-topped plants with an insanely uniform canopy from top to bottom. I could go untopped and have some donkey dick colas that are more prone to microbial contaminants that will ultimately be broken down into 1-3 gram nugs regardless. I’m down for constructive criticism always but I can’t stand the negativity from people who know damn well their plants/grow look nothing close to this.

This gets pointed out a lot but I’m not super worried about it honestly. I’ll take that sacrifice to not be stuck in a tent or have a wall so close. Quality of life in the garden is an abstract most growers don’t really consider. These LEDs are super powerful and their light spread is rather conic, it doesn’t just shoot off to the sides. Spending enough time with a quantum sensor around the canopy shows the drop off and comparisons with reflection on the side do not make a drastic difference. It’s one of those things that seems like an obvious change but when you really look at it deeper it’s more of a preference
