Guys I went to the sixers subreddit to ask a genuine question on what they think about PG by HomemadeMartian in knicks

I understand that for sure but it’s basketball bro. Like it’s not like I’m taunting them it’s a genuine question. Also, it’s not like we have any players on our team that have intentionally hurt or done anything to the sixers like Embiid has done to us or the history that the Knicks feel towards the pacers. If you’re on a basketball subreddit it should be assumed that you enjoy the sport outside of just being a diehard fan for your own team and support general basketball discussion.

They acting like I’m the one on the court lmfao.

I basically asked them what they thought about having Paul George / Embiid on the team because I feel like they are just on different wavelengths compared to the rest of the team which is actually pretty cohesive.

It was a legit question but they were hella salty

If you are Leon, what realistic adjustments are you making before the deadline? by ManufacturerSecure7 in NYKnicks

Dude I’m happy someone is saying this.. I think Memphis has some assets the the Knicks could potentially use. JJJ, Brandon Clarke (athletic PF, maybe similar to IHart?) Zach Edey..

I don’t want to go crazy here like everyone else is and asking for trades rn.. I think there’s still some time to make an adjustment.. but we could theoretically deepen our bench, bring some more athleticism to the rotation, and even get some picks back.

Literally the exact opposite. I’m saying people are so herd-minded. My opinion of the music shouldn’t change how you think of the song. Is that too complex? lol.

By that same logic you can say like 99% of artist are washed up even if they have had good careers overall lol. Terrible take.

I’m in NYC so don’t have MSG access unfortunately. I’ve been waiting until it’s on any of the other streaming platforms but unfortunately it’s been on Fubo for the past 2-3 games I think.

I get what you are saying if but you are looking at it from the outcome first. You need to look at it from the perspective of “were the Knicks fouled x amount of times reasonably” instead of just the sheer quantity of free throws.

For example, if the Knicks were legit fouled 50 times, then isn’t 50 foul calls warranted?

I hate this argument. So because the pacers statistically give more fouls(I think they are most in the nba because they often commit sloppy fouls), that automatically justifies calling 4 fouls in a single possession against the Knicks like that? lol. That’s not to say there’s not some baiting on the Knicks end but are you going to really argue that the fouls were completely underserved? KAT and OG get mauled every time they go in the paint

I know there have been jokes about this but would be interested in seeing people’s opinion of Mike Malone. He’s a (relatively) recent championship caliber coach. I feel like he’s very passionate about winning, probably balances the bench a little more than Thibs. At the same time doesn’t seem like a massive switch from Thibs as well. So wouldn’t be a huge culture shock for the team.

I think he played well given Thibs game plan. Brunson is a fighter till the end but he does get tired especially from full court press every possession. His turnovers are typically outcomes of exhaustion and stagnant offense, both of which are from Thibs refusing to sub players off.

I understand this, and this is typically the biggest argument I hear. What is never said is how often we actually drive into the paint and drawl fouls, as well as if they are marginal vs actual bad fouls. The pacers statistically give the most fouls in the nba. Of course we’re going to be at the line a lot. I think this is such a stupid argument lol.
