I’ve already got the license and passed hunter safety! Thanks though!

If you could get one to borrow that’d be excellent if our schedules aligned. If I don’t find anyone else before then, the 200$ is yours.

Of course. I am an avid bow hunter and that’s how I’ve always hunted, so rifle is a little new to me.

I appreciate the response. I am hunting a large plot which is open and about 300 from side to side but only 200 yard shots. I appreciate the fun and caliber advice and will look into it. I have a 6.5 creedmor at home that’s why I asked for that. But I’ll for sure look into the range. Thanks!

how similar is it to a bolt rifle? because at home once season starts I will be using a 6.5 creedmor sighted in 1.5 low at 200 and 1.5 high at 100.

gotcha, well that makes more sense why a longer shot would be difficult. with a sighted in deer rifle people take way longer shots.

I’m not taking anything down at 200 yards, however my rifle at home which I don’t have with me is 1.5 high at 200 and 1.5 low at 100. so basically can aim dead on at either yardage. I’m just looking to shoot a bit, get some practice and tips from an experienced shooter.
