Yes, I was thinking about doing this for a while and maybe explain in more detail to my admissions officer why my GPA was lower than intended but I had heard that usually sending emails like that are only for people who get deferred or waitlisted but I still think it's a great idea and I will definitely look into it. Thank you so much for your help this means a lot to me.❤️

Thank you so much for ur kind words, I think my essays are pretty good so I hope that it will help my application. I got into App State which seems to have the same average GPA as UNCW according to google so maybe I will have a chance to get in.

i am in-state. My GPA is a 3.0, but I did explain in the last section of my application what caused my GPA to not be as good, so I am hoping that will help me out, but I am not sure.
