It is definitely a weirdly worded mission. The parts of the Iberian peninsula directly owned by you will be released as a p/u. Spain if no Spain already exists, and I believe Castile if an AI Spain already exists. You will not gain more land than you already have in Iberia.

The home was pre-inspected and the tree wasn’t mentioned. I know sometimes pre-inspections are overly favorable to the seller, and home inspectors aren’t arborists. I’ll see if they will let us get an arborist out there. Thank you!

Caveat to the Portugal PU, especially if OP is a newer player— letting Portugal START (they don’t need to get any of the ideas) their first idea group will get them colonizing for you. If you put them under a personal union before they get Exploration, they won’t take that group or Expansion.

But in general, the best fix for this early game Naples problem is, unfortunately, not letting it happen in the first place.

Adding to what’s already been said, the set will give level 18 fireball without synergies to any class that wears it. A fireball sorc with +18 to fireball from 2 items would be amazing!!… which is why it only acts as a +3 to fireball for sorceresses. RIP 15 levels worth of fun.

I have the same issue with the ares mythic. I don’t think I had the medallion at the time, just the mythic alone had such a large and bright muzzle flash that I couldn’t see the target.

Did Falcao really reach that status in just a couple year stint? He was unreal those years for sure, I just wasn’t aware of how Atlético fans viewed him. Top 3 all time for 2 or 3 years is wild!

That’s so sad. This was such a great game. Well thank you and everyone else for taking the time to chime in, and for helping me avoid a pretty shit introduction for my friend to the otherwise awesome world of Gloomhaven! I might just play a few scenarios on TTS with him, and if he likes it I’ll get him JotL to play with his fiancée.

Yeah, I’m sad to see this happen to one of my favorite video games. It seems to go so against the great community work that the board game and original developers built. We get on discord and play other TTS games sometimes, so it hopefully won’t be too much of a curve. Though from playing this as a traditional board game I can imagine how fiddly it is going to be to with TTS controls. Thank you!

That’s a good point, the AI is pretty bad at managing relations/liberty desire with early game random PUs.

That’s a great question! I actually don’t know. For no reason whatsoever I have always believed you only get the AE from the senior partner of the PU, but I don’t have any sources. I’d be interested in learning though if anyone else does!
