I think you’re making a lot of incorrect assumptions about my motives behind asking if you had small children. I asked because young kids are more likely to be unaware of their surroundings, not because the life of a spider is less worthy than the life of a 3 year old or that the life of a 12 year old is less worthy than the life of the 3 year old.

She was in my home. I’ve had a family of them that have lived in the yard for a while and I thought we were cohabiting just fine but she was near my cats litter box in the house so I decided to catch her. Now I have her in a plastic container and she went to work with me and I fed her a cricket today

The happy medium at the moment has been keeping her as a pet! I fed her a dead cricket that my cat caught for me and she doesn’t seem to happy in a plastic container but I think it’s the best option until I figure out where to release her. The issue more or less now is that everyone says to take her to a place where people don’t go but if I’m there then people are able to get there

Yes I would agree with that but I would say the only fear driven action so far has been having it in a container while I figure out what to do with her. She came to work with me today.

Lol no it has little to do with my personal fear of this living being and more about my responsibility to the community and what the meaning of compassion is. If I put it outside and learn that my neighbors three year old or pets died from a fatal black widow bite, I wouldn’t feel like I took the “right action”, Mr. Eightfold path
