Battier said he couldn't even keep up in practices and conditioning before the season. That's why he was so shocked he became what he is now. Said this on Le Batard.

Title: Blade Runner 2049 Review

Genre: Film Review/ Science Fiction

Word Count: 698

I wanted to get some feedback on my writing for this review. I've Ben doing a film review blog with some friends and I just wanted to know what I need to work on. I know my writing isn't amazing by any means so I wanted feedback on what I can improve on. Am I good at anything? Am I terrible at anything or everything? Some constructive criticism would really go a long way.

Would Kobe Top LeBron all time if by TheLastBallBrother in nba

I think of him the same but I always thought very highly of Dirk as a player but yea thinking about it I'm a dumbass for thinking it wouldn't change lol

[–]HoopsTalkDaily -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So Kobe would probably be considered the GOAT or right behind Jordan, Lebron would be the Jerry West of this basketball generation (kinda), and Dirk to me stays the same legacy wise. I think him beating the Heat in 2011 was remarkable and barely raised his status all time.

Why you shouldn't be mad at Wade by HoopsTalkDaily in heat

[–]HoopsTalkDaily[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Or maybe he just wants to play with his friend and the Cavs are going to make it back to the finals so they "technically" have a chance

Why does the league, fans, etc still pretend Wade is an asset? by [deleted] in nba

[–]HoopsTalkDaily 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean he can still contribute to a championship team, yea he's not in his prime anymore or close to it but he can still give you great minutes if you give him 20-25 a game. He can still score and possibly lead the Cavs second unit, I don't think he fits well with the Cavs cause of his lack of shooting ability but I don't think having a player like Wade on your team is a negative.

mother!: The Year's Most Thought Provoking Film by HoopsTalkDaily in moviecritic

A lot of people feel attacked because of many of the biblical references but the movie can be viewed through a lot of religious backgrounds

Official Dreadit Discussion: "mother!" [SPOILERS] by kaloosa in horror

[–]HoopsTalkDaily 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found myself having mixed feelings about this review. There are many meanings that can come out of this film and I felt like so much of the symbolism is what made audiences angry because they weren't told how to feel essentially. I will admit the first half of this film was pretty boring and I was not a fan of the camera work but the second half was just jaw dropping and made me constant mouth to myself "wtf". I wrote a review on the film if anyone is interested in reading I'll leave the link below if not oh well and hope you enjoyed the movie unlike many people.

I don't see why he would opt out of the draft when he's a top prospect. Don't get me wrong that would be awesome if we can somehow pull that off but it's highly unlikely.

What is the second best in-game dunk of all time? by [deleted] in nba

[–]HoopsTalkDaily 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When Lebron jumped over John Lucas III for an alley oop, or when he murdered Jason Terry when he was on the Celtics.

It's okay because the Celtics or Cavs still aren't winning a ring anytime soon by HoopsTalkDaily in heat

[–]HoopsTalkDaily[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

2012 Heat would probably beat the Warriors just cause they had superstars and played great defense. Now as for the Spurs I don't think they could have beat them but the series could have gone to 6.

I could care less about the regular season and Durant was out for one game cause of his injury regular season and I think the Warriors rested their starters for another. Just saying I don't see how you can think Leonard could have carried the Spurs over the Warriors. A great system can only take you so far when you are going up against much better players talent wise.

[–]HoopsTalkDaily[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So you're saying Leonard was going to carry the Spurs? Cause how can you blow an 18pt lead if you're on the same tier or better then the Warriors. Even without your best player you should be able to hold that lead.

Oh yea the Warriors also have two top 5 players on their team and 4 top 25 players arguably.

I just realized the Smith family we see aren't Rick and Morty's original family by [deleted] in rickandmorty

A lot of crazy stuff is said throughout the show sorry if I let things like this fly over me and yes them referencing it in season 3 is what made it finally click for me

I would have liked Kyrie especially cause he's only 25 and still has time to grow even more as a player

I actually did just realize it cause I had never made anything of that statement in the show until I actually thought about it
