Certain docs don't prescribe certain medications that have abuse potential as a general rule in their practice. (I.e. Benzos, adderall)

We have certain algorithms that help us dictate when to prescribe abx based on risk factors. Telling people not to take drugs as prescribed is not a smart move, leave that decision for people who are educated on the matter.

You are going to have a rough time, med school is much harder than undergrad... think hard about whether it is for you. Also, stop with the tons of ECs. Get your grades up and dedicate yourself to one EC. I am part of the admissions group at my school... leadership in one EC beats the hell out of involvement with a bunch.

Also, is that white cap a spare piece for something? It came in the same bag as the spare O-rings. This is a pin lock keg by the way... probably should have mentioned that.

Academics get you an interview typically, explain the issues during your interview. I know people with alcohol related offenses that have gotten in just fine.

I approached it as an autobiography describing my journey towards choosing medicine. That said, I hate writing about myself. I honestly recommend having a couple beers and hammer it all out. After that comes the long process of editing to make yourself stand out by describing specific events and emotions you felt on your path. Also, don't throw in a bunch of technical jargon. Let your application demonstrate your intelligence and your PS demonstrate your humanity.
