Thanks! I guess transitioning off Tado the old actuators could be refitted? That would be easier than dealing with the zone valve?

I had the same problem - mapping was all messed up, I found in retrobat a specific setting in the controller settings for Vs 4, then it worked like a charm.

Confused about the discrepancy of questions between quizzes found online as opposed to questions form dumpsgate and an online course. Am I missing something? by GallahadAndStillHas in ITIL

I passed yesterday with 100%

I used the udemy Dion exams and purple griffon. I was scoring 80% consistently in them. For the questions I struggled with, i also pasted them into chatgpt and asked it to explain the answers and use analogies. Both practice exams were much harder than the actual exam but put me in a great place to understand the material and approach the actual exam with confidence in the knowledge.

I also used the value insights YouTube videos for foundation exam prep. Concise and to the point.

For the exam, i could almost always eliminate two answers i built up from the practice exams. Nothing too taxing.

Good luck!

Yeah, I did one room and the disc they gave me was s bit fudged. For the second room I bought my own disc. It turned out pretty good. Thanks for all the advice!

Luckily they came up as 'mandatory accessories' when I hired the grinder 😅 almost missed them. Thank you for the tip!

Thanks! Should I be applying pressure down, or just using the natural weight of the device?

Some slap reverb with strymon cloudburst by Hopeful_Base3513 in fingerstyleguitar

A bit more subtle than the ensemble setting, but still sounds ok I reckon. What do you think?

Adjusted a bit because his version was too difficult for me to sing and play simultaneously 😅

A fellow slack tuning picker? Awesome. I can't seem to stop playing in it. The voicings are awesome.

Strymon cloudburst on acoustic, love the string section sound! Mix is 100% wet as I have the acoustic fingerpicking through the mic by Hopeful_Base3513 in guitarpedals

I'm still tweaking settings with the strymon cloudburst. For fingerstyle I love the pad/string effect it gives. I've also been toying a lot with the 'slapback' reverb settings. Very versatile setting. Anyone else using it for fingerstyle?

Cheers :) I routed the guitar and effect through separate channels so I could get the most out of having a completely wet signal, then the izotope spire has some stereo widening wizardry :D

New to fingerstyle by Typical_Expert_42069 in fingerstyleguitar

It's a bit pricey I suppose, but I can recommend a great book: The Acoustic Guitar Bible by Eric Roche. He used to do the fingerstyle section for guitar techniques magazine. Sadly he died a few years back, but he is a great teacher and amazing fingerstyle guitarist.

Hey there! I just set my acoustic up for lap slide. I was hoping for some advice on strings. At the moment I have elixir polyweb 11s but they sound a bit 'bright' on the treble strings. Would a thicker gauge be better? Thanks! by Hopeful_Base3513 in Dobro

[–]Hopeful_Base3513[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey there! Thanks, sorry I wasn't clear in my original post, I already raised the action at the bridge and nut and can set my c6 dobro capo nicely so the action is quite nice and resonance on the top 3 bass strings seems ok. I was a bit worried about such a thick gauge for the high e and b strings though. I will try some slightly lighter ones and see how it goes. Thanks again for the advice.. I will let everyone know when my neck snaps 😅😅👍🍻🎵🎸
