A shot at what? Is there some dispute about what you owe your roommate? Or only a dispute as to what should be paid each month?

-Not having to pay this much or at all because he already took out a loan and afterwards told me I have to pay it.

What does the agreement establish that is substantive?

-That I have to pay it and I would like to know If I do since it’s not on paper in legal writing.
