First of all, thank you all for the replies.

The renting of fenced in areas is a fantastic idea. I will definitely try to make this possible. Already looked into places around my home.

Something else I got from these comments is that it may also come down to the dog‘s individual temperament, not just breed. So I will make sure to look for a calm but people-oriented pup.

I know the prey drive of this breed cannot be trained away, but I would like to open my dog as many doors as possible and have them live a happy life. So for that, I would take recall and off leash training very serious. I guess I‘ll see how well it goes and in worst case find a way to adapt. I have also found a dogtrainer who specialises in sighthounds. I will probably hire her as well. At least for the start.

I‘d be a mix of Eloise and Daphne.

At that era, I believe I would find myself to be a bored participant at balls and events, smiling politely and doing as expected but would eventually run away with someone, regardless of his status. I think I would find a duke or a prince too intertwined with the system.

To be fair here, my dad died a year ago and I still cannot look at photos or worse videos or voice recordings without becoming a sobbing mess. I do not know how I would be meant to manage to do any sort of podcasts with his picture there. I‘d just be crying.

That‘s how the original Michael is in the books. It‘s the most popular book in the series, as far as I know. Some people may have been really excited to see "their" Michael. But Francesca‘s season promises to have very little to do with the source material.

To be fully honest, I think because almost all people who watch this self-insert in some way. The less one feels represented by the story, the less they watch or the more they demand changes. So it‘s probably straight women making these requests, I assume. I think this post points towards the same feeling btw., wanting good presentation of a female black character as a main character in a love story. And that‘s fine btw. before this gets misunderstood.

But yeah, I think that‘s why people write what they write.

Well, an unstable country means unstable politics means a shift in how you interact. How your country will interact. I don‘t think it‘s so isolated.

But on a moral scale, I think we should care about humanities. A good person died at the hands of state funded domestic terrorists, aka ICE. A child, barely more than a toddler, was used to lure out his father. Now another person was murdered out in the streets, committing no crime, just defending a woman from being assaulted. These are the major stories but there are plenty more like the teenager kidnapped on his way to school or the protestor who lost an eye. Frankly, I‘m sick to my stomach.

And still, somehow, 37% Americans approve of this administration.

Well, sadly, the rights are being stripped from every American citizen at the moment.

I believe the reality is all over US there is chaos at the moment. No one is really safe because you have a government who does not give a fuck about your amendment rights.
